Wedding Questions
What is the parking situation at the venue?
There is ample parking on site at Silver Lake Country Club.
What time should I arrive at the venue?
The ceremony starts promptly at 6:00PM. Arriving at 5:30PM would be ideal.
Is there a dress code?
Cocktail, but really whatever you're comfortable in.
Is this an outdoor ceremony?
Yes, unless it rains. Then the ceremony will take place in the West Garden Room.
Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
No.
My invitation only has me listed on it. Can I bring a plus one?
No.
Can I take pictures during your wedding ceremony?
NO. Let the photographer handle that please. Save your photography skills for the reception.
What kind of food will be served?
The cocktail hour will have plenty of finger foods to go around and will be followed by a 4-course family style dinner. If you have an allergy, please let me know so I can accommodate you. Not liking the food is not an allergy.
Will there be an open bar?
Absolutely. What kind of South Side Irish wedding would this be if there wasn't an open bar?! Please remember to tip your bartenders.
Travel+Lodging Questions
Is there a hotel block?
We are not blocking out rooms, but there are plenty of hotels in the area that our guests can choose from. You can find them listed under the travel tab of our website.
Will travel be provided to/from the wedding?
Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Silver Lake Country Club.
RSVPing
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Please RSVP online unless your invitation came with a physical RSVP card.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by July 1 2024.
