Back in 2013 I, Janet was working in Breckenridge Colorado. I was working for the ski resort Vail Resort. When in Dec 2013 I started to work at the grocery store, City Market.

The first time I saw Craig he was in the produce department helping out. I asked one of the cashiers, "Who's that tall guy over there in produce." They responded that's Craig.

Now at the time he was in another relationship, so we didn't interact that much.

A year and half later in May 2015, I returned to Breckenridge to work full time at City Market. But our friendship/ relationship wouldn't start until July 2016 after me ending a 1.5 year relationship with another guy.

Seeing that I only had 3 weeks left living in Breckenridge due to me returning to Tampa Florida to return to school. I quickly got up the nerve to ask Craig, "would you like to go out to breakfast tomorrow?" He said Yes.

He took me to a local restaurant off Main St where his sister, Kim, worked as a Chef. After breakfast we went back to his house to sit and watch some TV. While sitting there in the living rooms. My already existing feelings for him since 2013 stirred up. I wondered and asked him "Did we just go on a date?" He responded "Yes." Looking into each other eyes we had our first kiss.

During those 3 weeks of me in Breckenridge we went on more dates. He show off his cooking talent, saw some movie premiers like Star Trek Beyond, and Ghostbusters. On the last week my Uncle Bobby and his family came up where he got to have dinner with us one night and meet Bobby, Karen, Sam, Johnny, Jamie, Jaxton, Marley, and Nancy. I also got to meet his sister, Kim formally and her baby daughter Avery.

I moved to Tampa July 31 2016.

Now being that I was returning to school January 2017, Craig and I decided it be best we take a pause on our relationship. Still stay in touch and we would about every month talk for about an hour, and we became best friends. After a few months we decided we be better to just be friends.

We would remain best friends until Feb 27, 2022 when we would become boyfriend and girlfriend again while attending Mardi Gras down in New Orleans.

I would end up quiting my job of Four years to do traveling Healthcare in the laboratory in Louisiana. First starting 1.5hrs north of Lafayette in Alexandria. Going on many adventures and trying amazing food.

In August we would fly to Tampa Florida to meet his family, see my parents again, and meet many of my close friends.

My second contract took me a little farther to New Orleans, 2.5hrs from Craig but this time I would have a 7day on 7 day off schedule, which meant more traveling, and quality time with Craig, and visiting family. Craig would join me I'm December for my grandmother funeral, while sad and greatful that he was there. I was even more joyed that he got to meet my whole extended family over those 2.5 day trip.

Then Xmas we were apart but celebrated it in style Dec 29 with his nephew, Ryan who came to visit.

Then it was December 31, 2022. Craig got down on one knee and asked me "Will you be my Adventure buddy for life and marry me." We were ringing in the New Year as Fiancés.
