Hello everyone!Janice here!so here is the story of Jesse and I, told from my perspective. I met Jesse at our young adult church group. It took some time for us to actually talk to one another.in this time I noticed Jesse’s interest in me so I knew I had to run away as far as I could. But over time I could feel my feelings shift as I observed him at church.Every year our young adult group plans a trip. It was at this trip that I knew I liked him but he didn’t need to know that. A couple days later, with the help of krystal and Ronald, Jesse would confess his feelings for me and I shared mine. With time we got together on September 1st.i got to see this man in who he is and his walk with the Lord and admire him. From that day forward it’s been an honor to be his girlfriend, now fiancé, and I couldn’t wait for the day for him to propose. One year later at a lavender farm he would and I couldn’t be happier. Hello again!This is Jesse, and this is my take on how Janice and I got together. I met Janice at our young adults church group and instantly thought she was cute! But it took about two years until I actually talked to her and created a friendship. As we continued to talk to one another over instagram, phone-calls, text messages, and hang-out in group-settings, we would experience adventures together with a zeal vacation trip (where we confessed feelings for one another), a soccer game (Visca Barca), we shared our first dances together, and I would eventually ask her to be my girlfriend on September 1, 2023. It was then that through pursuing our relationship with Jesus that we knew early-on that we wanted to get married. As discussions about marriage continued to arise, we decided to do some ring-shopping and crafted Janice's dream ring to where on September 14, 2024, I proposed to her on a lavender farm. AAAANNNNDDDD HERE WE ARE NOW!!!

HELLO FAMILY, Whether by blood or by the blood, thank you for visiting this tab and thank you for being a part of this next chapter with Jesse and I. I wanted to include this because, after all, this is all about Jesus.   I'm quickly finding out that this whole wedding planning process takes up so much time and focus. You can easily become consumed with finding the perfect everything and making sure all the details are to the T.   I knew I’d frequent this site to make updates and I wanted a reminder of what this is all about. Its not about a dress, food, dancing, or gifts (even though these are good things ha). It’s all about The One who gave me the privilege to profess in front of you all that God has led me to the one in which we can place Christ’s love on display. This wedding day will last only one day but this marriage will last until we meet Him in glory. So selfishly, this tab is for me, but I know it can bless us all. I would also like to say that most, if not all, these words wont be mine. Plagiarism at its finest. But I will give credit where it is due.   Marriage is a covenant. Marriage is a covenant between a husband and wife that is made before God. It's a binding promise that creates intimacy, stability, and freedom. Wedding vows are a promise to love each other in the future, not just a declaration of present feelings. Marriage is a reflection of God's love. Marriage can be a picture of God's love by allowing people to experience being fully known and loved. Marriage is a way to refine character. Marriage is a way for two spiritual friends to help each other become the people God intended them to be. Marriage is challenging. God's design for marriage is challenging to the beliefs of all cultures and times. The greatest threat to marriage is within ourselves .The greatest threat to marriage is our sinful nature. A correct understanding of the gospel is necessary to understand marriage and carry out God's callings. Love is action. Love is fundamentally action, not emotion. Real love is shown by how much you're willing to give, not how much you receive.     -Tim Keller

Meaning of Marriage

Hello again friends and family. We thank you all so much for joining us for our special day. And we appreciate you taking the time to accept our invitation. While we love your little ones, we respectfully request that our wedding day be an adult-only affair.  We are also sorry that we are unable to extend additional invitations due to capacity concerns.
