On the serene campus of Loyola Marymount University in the year 2015, Jared and Maddy met under the strangest of circumstances: as actors, playing a couple for a mutual friend's short film, acting out an embarrassing tale of a date gone wrong. While they hit it off almost immediately, an entire summer passed before they saw each other again, this time in the fall of the following school year, where after a couple of friendly encounters, Jared worked up the nerves to ask her out.

What followed were several pizza dates by the beach, movie nights into the early hours of the morning, and even an ice skating excursion that may or may not have begun with Maddy immediately falling on her butt the moment she stepped onto the ice. They discovered that, as fate would have it, they were both from San Jose, and only lived a quick twenty minute drive from each other, so their dates continued during school breaks, with many a nights spent playing with their family dogs, getting far too competitive during board games, and exchanging countless pitches for movies while soaking in the Matusich hot tub.

Through their nearly eight years together, they have done it all, from moving in together in Los Angeles, to adopting an overly energetic but adorable puppy named Odin, and even attending over a dozen wedding's for friends across the country. While their acting days are (mostly) behind them, Jared and Maddy can't wait to celebrate their special day with all of you and begin the rest of their lives together!
