How&nbsp;We&nbsp;Met We&nbsp;first&nbsp;crossed&nbsp;paths&nbsp;at&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;orientation&nbsp;in&nbsp;June&nbsp;2012&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Rocky&nbsp;Mountain&nbsp;College&nbsp;of&nbsp;Art&nbsp;+&nbsp;Design.&nbsp;By&nbsp;sheer&nbsp;coincidence,&nbsp;we&nbsp;ended&nbsp;up&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;next&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;book&nbsp;with&nbsp;him,&nbsp;and&nbsp;my&nbsp;curiosity&nbsp;got&nbsp;the&nbsp;better&nbsp;of&nbsp;me—I&nbsp;asked&nbsp;him&nbsp;what&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;about.&nbsp;To&nbsp;my&nbsp;surprise,&nbsp;he&nbsp;revealed&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;had&nbsp;written&nbsp;it,&nbsp;and&nbsp;had&nbsp;authored&nbsp;many&nbsp;more.&nbsp;From&nbsp;that&nbsp;moment&nbsp;on,&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;inseparable.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;bond&nbsp;grew&nbsp;over&nbsp;shared&nbsp;loves:&nbsp;food&nbsp;(especially&nbsp;sushi),&nbsp;books,&nbsp;cartoons,&nbsp;video&nbsp;games,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dungeons&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Dragons.&nbsp;Fast&nbsp;forward&nbsp;to&nbsp;2019,&nbsp;a&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;crush&nbsp;began&nbsp;to&nbsp;blossom.&nbsp;Tycho,&nbsp;being&nbsp;the&nbsp;brave&nbsp;one,&nbsp;confessed&nbsp;his&nbsp;feelings&nbsp;first&nbsp;and&nbsp;asked&nbsp;me&nbsp;out&nbsp;on&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;on&nbsp;March&nbsp;27th,&nbsp;2019. Our&nbsp;First&nbsp;Date March&nbsp;27th,&nbsp;2019,&nbsp;will&nbsp;always&nbsp;be&nbsp;special&nbsp;to&nbsp;us.&nbsp;In&nbsp;true&nbsp;goth&nbsp;fashion,&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;invited&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;stroll&nbsp;through&nbsp;the&nbsp;historic&nbsp;Fairmont&nbsp;Cemetery&nbsp;in&nbsp;Aurora,&nbsp;Colorado.&nbsp;As&nbsp;we&nbsp;wandered&nbsp;among&nbsp;the&nbsp;graves,&nbsp;we&nbsp;chatted,&nbsp;looked&nbsp;for&nbsp;famous&nbsp;markers,&nbsp;and&nbsp;took&nbsp;breaks&nbsp;to&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;the&nbsp;greenery&nbsp;and&nbsp;tranquility.&nbsp;What&nbsp;began&nbsp;as&nbsp;an&nbsp;afternoon&nbsp;walk&nbsp;turned&nbsp;into&nbsp;a&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;sunset&nbsp;departure.&nbsp;We&nbsp;returned&nbsp;to&nbsp;his&nbsp;home,&nbsp;shared&nbsp;a&nbsp;meal,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;asked&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;our&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;from&nbsp;friendship&nbsp;to&nbsp;partnership. Falling&nbsp;In&nbsp;Love Our&nbsp;adventures&nbsp;together&nbsp;were&nbsp;many&nbsp;and&nbsp;varied,&nbsp;from&nbsp;concerts&nbsp;to&nbsp;road&nbsp;trips,&nbsp;and&nbsp;even&nbsp;navigating&nbsp;the&nbsp;pandemic&nbsp;side&nbsp;by&nbsp;side.&nbsp;Some&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;memories&nbsp;include&nbsp;a&nbsp;road&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;Moab,&nbsp;a&nbsp;luxurious&nbsp;Omakase&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;at&nbsp;Matsuhisa&nbsp;Nobu&nbsp;in&nbsp;Denver,&nbsp;and&nbsp;adopting&nbsp;our&nbsp;beloved&nbsp;cat,&nbsp;Tatsu. The&nbsp;Proposal Tycho&nbsp;once&nbsp;again&nbsp;took&nbsp;the&nbsp;lead.&nbsp;We&nbsp;had&nbsp;often&nbsp;fantasized&nbsp;about&nbsp;getting&nbsp;married,&nbsp;so&nbsp;he&nbsp;knew&nbsp;my&nbsp;answer&nbsp;would&nbsp;be&nbsp;yes,&nbsp;but&nbsp;that&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;make&nbsp;the&nbsp;moment&nbsp;any&nbsp;less&nbsp;magical.&nbsp;After&nbsp;a&nbsp;family&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;Las&nbsp;Vegas&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;dad’s&nbsp;birthday,&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;planned&nbsp;a&nbsp;special&nbsp;birthday&nbsp;outing&nbsp;for&nbsp;me.&nbsp;On&nbsp;October&nbsp;6th,&nbsp;2023,&nbsp;he&nbsp;took&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;The&nbsp;Melting&nbsp;Pot.&nbsp;On&nbsp;the&nbsp;way,&nbsp;we&nbsp;stopped&nbsp;at&nbsp;Whole&nbsp;Foods,&nbsp;where&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;insisted&nbsp;I&nbsp;pick&nbsp;out&nbsp;a&nbsp;bouquet&nbsp;of&nbsp;flowers.&nbsp;Back&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;car,&nbsp;he&nbsp;fussed&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;flowers&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;trunk&nbsp;before&nbsp;handing&nbsp;them&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;me.&nbsp;I&nbsp;noticed&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;addition—a&nbsp;big&nbsp;white&nbsp;fake&nbsp;flower.&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;told&nbsp;me&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;surprise&nbsp;for&nbsp;later.&nbsp;At&nbsp;the&nbsp;restaurant,&nbsp;while&nbsp;waiting&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;fondue,&nbsp;he&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;contain&nbsp;himself&nbsp;any&nbsp;longer&nbsp;and&nbsp;popped&nbsp;the&nbsp;question.&nbsp;The&nbsp;fake&nbsp;flower&nbsp;was&nbsp;actually&nbsp;a&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;ring&nbsp;box! Why&nbsp;the&nbsp;Denver&nbsp;Botanic&nbsp;Gardens Choosing&nbsp;the&nbsp;Denver&nbsp;Botanic&nbsp;Gardens’&nbsp;Woodland&nbsp;Mosaic&nbsp;and&nbsp;Solarium&nbsp;as&nbsp;our&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;venue&nbsp;was&nbsp;an&nbsp;easy&nbsp;decision.&nbsp;I&nbsp;always&nbsp;envisioned&nbsp;a&nbsp;botanic&nbsp;fairytale&nbsp;wedding,&nbsp;so&nbsp;this&nbsp;venue&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;dream&nbsp;come&nbsp;true.&nbsp;The&nbsp;enchanting,&nbsp;natural&nbsp;beauty&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;gardens&nbsp;perfectly&nbsp;aligns&nbsp;with&nbsp;our&nbsp;botanic&nbsp;fairytale&nbsp;theme,&nbsp;making&nbsp;it&nbsp;the&nbsp;ideal&nbsp;backdrop&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;special&nbsp;day. Looking&nbsp;Forward In&nbsp;honor&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;Filipino&nbsp;heritage,&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;have&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;my&nbsp;maternal&nbsp;grandmother's&nbsp;maiden&nbsp;name:&nbsp;Rebotoc.&nbsp;This&nbsp;rare&nbsp;Indigenous&nbsp;name&nbsp;survived&nbsp;Spanish&nbsp;colonization,&nbsp;and&nbsp;only&nbsp;about&nbsp;250&nbsp;people&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;world&nbsp;share&nbsp;it.&nbsp;Like&nbsp;this&nbsp;name,&nbsp;we&nbsp;will&nbsp;persevere&nbsp;through&nbsp;life&nbsp;with&nbsp;resilience. We’re&nbsp;so&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;of&nbsp;you.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;day&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;a&nbsp;reflection&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;journey&nbsp;together&nbsp;–&nbsp;filled&nbsp;with&nbsp;joy,&nbsp;beauty,&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;touch&nbsp;of&nbsp;magic.&nbsp;In&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;year,&nbsp;we&nbsp;hope&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;on&nbsp;our&nbsp;honeymoon&nbsp;together&nbsp;across&nbsp;Europe!&nbsp;Thank&nbsp;you&nbsp;for&nbsp;being&nbsp;a&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;story&nbsp;and&nbsp;for&nbsp;joining&nbsp;us&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;step&nbsp;into&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;as&nbsp;Jase&nbsp;and&nbsp;Tycho&nbsp;Rebotoc.&nbsp; With&nbsp;love, Jase&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Tycho

I've worked in the food industry, the retail industry, as a handiman, have been a lifeguard, and as an EMT. Most of all, I enjoy helping people."

"Mother of Jase Kelly. Wife to Paul Kelly for 30 LOOOONG years. Have spent 30+ years in the food industry and the care of children. My favorite color is pink and my favorite flower is the orchid. I'm a Dragon, so I'm unrestrained, frank, honest, and try to make things perfect but beware my short temper. I love flowers, growing my garden, crocheting, and cooking. I most enjoy having friends and family enjoy my food together at gatherings."

Welcome to Denver!

We're so excited to have you come in from out of town. We have three different hotel options, all within a 10-15 minute drive from the Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street, 15 minutes from our apartment complex (the welcome/engagement party venue), 30 minutes from the Kelly Residence (the reception venue), and 6 minutes from each other, all located along Colorado Boulevard. This neatly centralized location is conveniently close to many restaurants and shopping centers! We look forward to having you in town and close by.

High quality and reasonably priced, the Bronze Empire is a favorite of Jase and Tycho's. They can accommodate a wide variety of dietary restrictions and allergies. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours though, as you'll be cooking your soup as you eat it and this kind of dining is meant to be more leisurely!

Eatery</a> - Best locally owned breakfast/brunch joint in Colorado! Looking for a mean pancake or some killer eggs benedict? Snooze is where it's at. They are also great about accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions. Be sure to check the waitlist online though! Snooze is incredibly popular, especially on the weekends. Wait times can get crazy if you don't plan ahead.

Thai Pot hits the spot for us any time we get that Thai craving. We also love that they have an extended heat scale from "American 0 to 7" (no spice to kinda has some heat) to "Thai Mild (10), Thai Medium (20), and Thai Hot (35)". Jase and Tycho usually get Thai Mild or Thai Medium!

We have yet to try their Brunch menu, but they have a great "Board + Bottle" deal where you get 4 different bruschetta and a whole bottle of wine for $25 after 8 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays!
