In the summer of 2020, as the sun painted the Colorado skies, Corey was working as an HVAC technician at the serene Garden of the Gods Resort in Colorado Springs. At the same time, Jasmine, with dreams of a fresh start, was moving from Kansas to the stunning mountains of Colorado. She began working as the kids' club manager at the same resort, unaware that fate had already set the stage for their paths to cross.

One day, while Corey was replacing the HVAC filters in the Recreation Center, their eyes met. Corey packed his bags, and soon, he was helping Jasmine pack up her apartment, ready to leave behind the mountains for a new life by the ocean.

On November 16th, 2024, with all the certainty in his heart, Corey got down on one knee, gazing up at Jasmine with a love that had only deepened over the years. He told her he couldn’t imagine a future without her and asked for her hand in marriage.
