December 9, 2021: The night we met and didnt know our lives were about to change. We met at a catholic event that was a holy hour followed by the bar (Red Ox Tavern in Auburn Hills). Kelsey saw Jason sitting at the bar with another girl and was assesing the situation as Jason had caught her eye. Meanwhile, Jason saw Kelsey from across the bar and thought shes cute so he grabbed an open seat at her table across from her. There was some chemistry and Jason naturally gave out his Alpha Z business card. He also got Kelseys number and invited her over for a game night at his house the following weekend.


December 18, 2021: Kelsey went to Jasons house for game night. They mutually decided they should hang out again.


December 23, 2021: The first official date. Spiked our drinks under Christmas lights at Canterbury Village.


March 29, 2022: We were both very cautious and feeling each other out for a while. We knew that we were essentially dating and I guess we kinda liked each other so we decided to officially make it official and throw that boyfriend/girlfriend label on. ;)


April 4-6, 2022: Took our first road trip to good ole Columbus OH. It wasnt great because you know.. we were in Ohio, but we did have fun. We saw some of Ohios finest offerings of Dancing Bunnies and Chief Leatherlips.


July 7, 2022: The first day we said I love you in Kelseys backyard under the string lights.


fast forward....
December 8, 2022: the engagement night! Jason made Kelseys favorite dinner that he cooks- Shrimp Scampi. He made a scavenger hunt around his house that was full of clues from our previous dates. At the end, Kelsey opened a ring box that told her she was likely not getting engaged that night. Jason had a work meeting he needed to do on zoom so Kelsey had to leave. Katelyn miraculously needed some help at her house so Kelsey went to assist. When Kelsey left Katelyns she told her to listen to this new song. Kelsey listened on the way home but in the 5 streets between Katelyn and Kelseys house, she did not hear the whole song since it was not connecting to the car well. Jason had written the song for Kelsey and from what Kelsey could tell the song was cute and she felt like she got the gist. When she got home, she could tell Jason was at her house but couldnt find him. She figured shed better listen to that song again. At the end it told her to go to the patio (where we first said ILY). Jason then proposed when Kelsey finally got back there! <3


December 9, 2022: We went back to Red Ox with some of our closest family and friends to celebrate. We felt beyond blessed and amazed for what God could pull off in a year and for all of the support weve received from our loved ones!


We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together! But first... we cant wait to celebrate with you at our wedding that will be unlike any youve been to before! We have some surprises that are sure to be entertaining and fun. We hope youre ready to party and we cant wait to see you on July 15, 2023!
