Chandler Maynard has known the groom since middle school. They first met at their church's youth group, SWEAT, and became fast friends. They have been on many adventures together and enjoy having long discussions about Biblical history and theology. Chandler is compassionate, loyal, and thoughtful of others. Chandler currently resides in Waxahachie, Texas with his amazing wife Susana.

Daniel Mainshein was one of the Jason's first friends upon moving to Pittsburgh. First meeting in chemistry graduate school, the two developed a strong friendship over playing chess, taking runs together, and playing cards. They now attend the same church and hang out weekly. Daniel is smart, genuine, and supportive of others. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania getting his doctorate in mathematics.

James and Jason met in Bible study and immediately found common ground as chemists. Since then, the two have developed a strong friendship which involves playing ultimate frisbee, discussing their jobs in chemistry, and conversing about Jesus. James is a leader, caring, and trusting. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his amazing wife Tori.

Micah and Jason have been close friends since meeting in 2021. The two developed a friendship revolving around Wednesday night Bible study, hiking, playing cards, and cooking dinner. Additionally, they have gone on many adventures together. Micah is fun, adventurous, and energetic. He enjoys swing dancing, rock climbing, and hiking. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his roommates, including fellow groomsman Daniel Mainshein.

Taylor and Jason have been friends since high school. First meeting at Anthem Church, the two quickly developed a bond over playing Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies, discussing DC Comics, and watching Star Wars. Taylor and the groom have gone on many adventures together including the National Archives and Manassas Battlefield. Taylor is positive, gentle, and faithful as a friend. He currently resides in Washington D.C. using his artistic skills to make people smile!

Amanda and Kelsey have been friends for 15+ years. What started as a generic "getting to know you" coffee morphed into a longstanding monthly Starbucks coffee induced artistic free-for-all where they take over a corner table for 2-3 hours and catch up on life, love, and artistic escapades. Amanda lives just outside of Pittsburgh, and is a full-time artist and graphic designer.

Kelsey and the BHs met when their family moved to Pittsburgh/Ascension in 2015 and needed help unloading their UHaul. Jane's husband Alex (officiating priest) had just taken a position as Ascension's Director of Youth Ministries and quickly recruited Kelsey as a volunteer, personal assistant, babysitter... then live-in family friend, neighbor, and honorary sister/aunt. Together Jane and Kelsey take monthly walks, lust over baking recipes, and enjoy a big/little sister dynamic. Jane is Development Director with the Pittsburgh non-profit organization HaitiH20.

Natalie and Kelsey became friends in 2018 while volunteering at Church of the Ascension's Youth Group (CAYG). They quickly bonded and have remained close through their mutual loves of youth ministry, the Enneagram, and reading aloud. During COVID, in addition to Podding, Kelsey and Natalie formed several virtual book clubs with peers and members of the youth group where they introduced an entire generation to the wonders of Jane Austen. This helped prepare them for their current long distance friendship with Natalie and her family now living in Nevada.

Kelsey and Sarah met at a Christian Teen Retreat in high school. When the band Reliant K held a concert in the area, Sarah called Kelsey, explained that none of her friends could come, and would she like the extra ticket? Since then, they remained steady friends with sleepovers, letters and care packages while away at camp, college, or counties, monthly Eat'n'Park breakfast for dinner, and attending the same church. 10+ years after being Sarah's bridesmaid, Kelsey is happy to return the favor and have her longest friend by her side.
