I (Jon) think God wanted us together since time began. From our parents growing up in the same area in

middle-of-nowhere Indiana, to our families almost crossing paths within the Church world for the next 26 years, then getting introduced one afternoon in the middle of a work lunch, it was only a matter of time, and obedience. After our first interaction, Javin wanted nothing to do with me (the biggest mistake of her life). I walked away not impressed and moving on with life, not thinking anything from it. Less than a month later, Javin found her way into the friend group that I been in. She made it a point to talk to me, then apologized for how she first treated me. She asked if we could be friends. That spoke to her character and heart, I was very impressed. After about 1.5 months of being friends, I had realized that one day Javin was going to be an incredible mom and that someone was going to turn Javin into a wife. I decided that it was going to be me. After about 3 weeks of dating, I was confident that Javin was the one for me! 4 months later, I asked Javin to be my bride (the second best decision of her life). We are beyond excited to live life together, getting to partner in Ministry, and raise disciples of Christ for His Kingdom for the rest of our lives.
