H and J met in youth group at church in 2010! The unlikely pair become a dynamic duo very quick. A few years later, Javin’s older brother asked Helayna on a date. We had many late night drives to Dutch bros, church camps, and shopping trips over the years. Helayna became my “Soul-Sister-law” in 2020. SHAWTYYYYY!!!! Em and Jav met in 2019 and have been glued to the hip ever since (besides her living in FL and Jav in AZ… for now). The two have been together through a whole lot. The good and bad times and all in between. Through it all Emily has always helped Javin draw closer to Jesus.

J and K met with Javin was in the 4th grade. She is the one who introduced Javin to Taylor Swift. Kaity has always been a ride or die. She loves so hard and always extends a helping hand. She is also is the one who took the beautiful photos on this website 🤩.

Amanda is one of my bonus sisters. When Jon and I first started dating, we knew that we wanted to get married so after only two months I went home with him to Virginia to meet his family. Instantly Amanda and I became friends. She was so funny and we bonded over making fun of Jon together and playing Euker. She is very fun and funny and we love to yap. 💓 so excited to gain her as a sister and be part of her family.

My parents actually met Selena before I did and as soon as they met her, they knew that her and I were going to be great friends. Three summers ago I was her intern at the Avondale campus and we became super close friends very fast. We loved to laugh and talk together and, have stayed by each other side this whole time. She has always been a great inspiration for me and has encouraged me in my ministry. She’s always been such a great support to me, especially when I get down on myself. She always points me back to Jesus.

Kylie and Javin met one night when a group of friends were playing pickleball. Javin knew they were going to be great friends and made it a point to make them friends. Since that night, we’ve had many double dates and late nights listening to music and talking by the camp fire. She is so fun, caring, Jesus-loving, and hilarious. She’s a very good friend to Javin.

Growing up, Ashley was always the cool older sister of Kaity‘s. I looked up to Ashley so much and as I grew up from being a fourth grader to now, she is always been an amazing role model in my life. I remember getting a little bit older and asking Ashley to be a mentor of mine. She went from being a mentor of mine to us coaching alongside each other in high school ministry at Peoria. And then from that we’ve just became good friends. She’s been someone who is truly helped me be more like Jesus, and has loved me through the ups and downs. I have always felt so lucky to have her by my side, especially through weeks high school camp. 😉

With over a decade of friendship, being co-workers and brothers in Christ, Dan has always been a constant and loyal friend. Dan and his family have always pointed Jon back to Christ in all seasons of life.

Even from a young age, Jared and Jon have been partners in crime. Nearly inseparable when around each other, they can be found laughing hysterically, playing golf, playing video games, talking about their favorite movies, eating Chick-fil-A, and working together in ministry.

Jake and Jon first became friends at a local college ministry in RVA. Through many years, Jake has been the iron that has sharpened Jon in faith, personal leadership and responsibility, and exemplified the power of fighting for Truth.

Colby was Jons Residency Trainer. Through the program, Jon and Colby spent lots of time doing Chick-fil-A deliveries for local high schools, spending time with coaches, running a high school ministry and most importantly, playing a lot of basketball. Through many conversations, God used Colby to sharpen Jon to be a better friend, pastor and now, Husband.

Holden and Jon originally played for the same Basketball team in high school, but did not become deeper friends until after they both had graduated. Through many rounds of golf, transitions in life and struggles, Holden has been a constant and loyal friend always challenging and pointing Jon back to the Lord.
