There are many great hikes to beautiful waterfalls in Nantahala National Park including the Whitewater Falls, Silver Run Falls, and Foothills trails. Make sure to bring bug spray and water if you attempt any of these hikes!

There are several places that offer whitewater rafting within an hour of the town of Glenville. The Dillsboro River Company is just one of those places.

Its an hour and a half away but, I mean, its Asheville. Its got craft beer and mountains. Is this really a hard sell?

A popular hike in Nantallama? Nantlahana? uh, Nathanielayla? Whatever. That big national forest. A 2 mile loop trail offers great views from an elevation of 4,930 Ft. (Yes Mason. I know the mountains are bigger in Washington. Hush.)
