We met in the most romantic way possible... around midnight on June 29th, 2018 Gabe was out for a guys night and Jaymee was out for a girls-only (no talking to guys) night at a crazy college bar named Saloon. That night was the infamous Thirsty Thursday where the go-to beverage of choice was $1 Bud Lights. The odds of meeting your future spouse at one of these bars is next to nothing, but somehow, Gabe spotted Jaymee dancing up on the benches with her friends. Gabe asked Jaymee if she wanted another drink, but Jaymee had not finished her full beer yet so she chugged it, and gave him the worst high-five imaginable. To this day, Gabe jokes that at that moment he knew Jaymee was the one.

Things progressed perfectly as we began to spend as much time as possible together. We enjoyed going out with friends, tailgating for every home game, date nights, and working out together. We just truly loved each others company! Our love for one another grew stronger as we lived together one summer (Jaymee's roommates moved out for the summer... she hates being alone). We realized that we were amazing partners and lived so well together. That was when we knew this was forever!

Two years went by and Jaymee was graduating with her Bachelors of Social Work at the University of South Carolina. We had to make a very important decision in the midst of Covid on where we wanted to live after college. With Jaymee's family being stationed all over the country, we decided that Illinois would become our home so we could be near Gabe's family.

Our time in Illinois has been nothing short of eventful and amazing. We have grown even more as a couple over these last 5 years, as we have built a beautiful life together. We are surrounded by so much love and support from family and friends.

As we take this next step together as a couple, we cannot wait to share our love with everyone (near & far) in our life. Our wedding day of June 28th marks almost exactly 7 years since the day we met, which makes this day so special to us. We cannot wait to commemorate this special day with all of you!
