What date should I RSVP by?
It is very important for us to get an accurate headcount so we can ensure meals, drinks, and more for your party. We ask that all guests formally RSVP by July 1st. If you're unable to know with 100% certainty by that date, please reach out to us directly and keep us in the loop.
What is the dress code?
Our wedding is cocktail attire, and for this time of year in St. Louis, we suggest: knee-length or midi cocktail dresses, snazzy jumpsuits, elegant separates, or suits/sports coats with a tie.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We have the Jewel Box reserved from 2-3:30pm CST. We ask that all guests arrive at 2pm and be in their seats promptly by 2:15. We plan to start the ceremony promptly at 2:30pm. There will be weddings before and after us, so we ask that all guests arrive in a timely manner, as we have a tight window. Thanks for your help in making this work!
Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
We kindly request that the ceremony & reception be an adults-only celebration. When filling out your RSVP form, it will specify all members of your party. We appreciate your understanding!
Where should I stay?
We have reserved an optional hotel block at the Hampton Inn & Suites at 5650 Oakland Ave St. Louis, MO 63110. It is a 4 minute drive to the ceremony venue and 10 minute drive to the reception venue. To take advantage of the room block, please call the hotel directly at (314)-655-3993 and mention the Vanatta/Hollmann wedding. The block will get a 15% discounted rate which should be around ~$175-225/night. The wedding block discount is not available online, only by calling the hotel. The discount will be available as long as the hotel is not sold out.
Is there parking at the Ceremony and/or Reception?
Ceremony: Parking at the Jewel Box can be found along the street surrounding the venue and nearby at The Muny. We recommend carpooling, ubering, or arriving early to secure parking.
Reception: There is no dedicated parking at Wild Carrot, and street parking is limited around the venue. We strongly encourage you plan to either carpool, Uber, or get there earlier. We will have the space until 10pm. Even though this is considered a very safe area, the venue provides a dedicated security guard who monitors the surrounding area.
Are you registered somewhere?
Your presence is our biggest gift! But if you’d like to give something, our registry is on this website. As we are traveling from out of town to our wedding, we kindly ask for either physically small or non-physical items as we have limited space in our bags. If you are considering a gift, our top priorities are both our Honeymoon/House funds.
Can I take pictures during the Ceremony?
We will be having professional photographers and videographers capture our wedding. Please refrain from taking pictures with your phone during the ceremony as this may get in the way of the professionals capturing the day. Thank you for understanding.
What food will be served at the Reception?
We will have catering provided by Salt + Smoke St. Louis BBQ. This is one of our favorite spots and we're confident you'll love it too. We will have a buffet with numerous different options, and it should cover all dietary needs. In your RSVP submission, there is a question that asks about dietary needs. Please reach out directly to either of us if you have any specific concerns and we will do our best to accommodate.
Why can't I find my name in the RSVP?
The form can be very finicky. Please either try your full name and if that doesn't work, please text us directly and we'll mark you. Adam's number is (314)-687-3565 and Jaynie's number is (314)-943-0527.
What should I do inbetween the ceremony and reception?
As we take wedding photos around Forest Park and the Arch, please allow some transition time before the Reception. This part is totally up to you, but since everyone is already in beautiful Forest Park, a few ideas to pass the time may be to go to the Zoo, Art Museum, Forest Park Boat House, the Loop, etc. You can come to the reception venue at 5:30pm for cocktail hour.
