Anthony was living a busy life between working, studying at college and volunteering at church every weekend. He had very little time to meet new people. Around the same time Jazmín arrived to the US. Alone in a new country she decided to use the most popular app for meeting new people, Tinder, and there is where Jazmín & Anthony met. A few messages led to video calls on Skype, and finally on a beautiful summer night they had their first date. The two shared laughs and a delicious dinner at The Distillery. Anthony was enchanted by her cute accent and charming personality. Jazmín was amazed to find out what a nice and respectful man Anthony was. They found themselves seeing each other everyday either at college or at church and Anthony decided to ask Jazmín to be his girlfriend, to which she happily agreed.

Jazmín and Anthony were happily attending university together (Go Tigers!), but their days were numbered. Jazmín was fortunate to have a scholarship that paid for her education in the US, however, once she completed her master's degree she was required to return to the Dominican Republic. The couple was forced to choose, either end the relationship or attempt international dating. 1700 miles was not enough to separate these two. Daily video calls over Skype, reading books, watching movies on Netflix became their best allies in the relationship. All the while counting down the days until they would be together again.

Being together was only possible through long distance travel. Jazmín & Anthony took that as an opportunity to discover new places and expand their comfort zone. From scuba diving to indoor skydiving they continually found new ways to bring adventure and excitement to their relationship. But no moment was more exhilarating than seeing the other arrive at the airport one more time.

Many of the adventures they shared were, slaying dragons with swords or fighting crime as superheroes through the fun of boardgames. They played games together nearly everyday. Anthony was ready to pursue the next great adventure, so he put his graphic design skills to work and created cards indistinguishable from those in their favorite game. Jazmín urged him to play, not realizing they were playing for keeps. When she started the game and revealed the cards they posed a question that would result in the ultimate victory.
