Alejandra is the Bride's younger sister. From an early age, she's always been Jeantte's sidekick, the troublemaker, the one who will do something crazy and act innocent. This special day couldn't be celebrated without her by Jeanette's side. If the Bride needs something, Alejandra will be there to support, love, and yell at someone on the Bride's behalf.
Jessica Tovar - Bridesmaid
Jessica is Jeanette's Best Friend. They've shared countless memories together; they've laughed, cried, loved, and supported one another in this crazy thing called life. Believe it or not, they actually hated each other when they first met (but that's a story for another time). Their friendship blossomed into one that will never be broken for the end of time, and on this big day, the bride couldn't say YES without her best friend.
Tanya Rodriguez - Bridesmaid
Tanya is the bride's first-ever friend, whom she made when she moved to Topeka from the City of Angels. They met at college, and their friendship blossomed into something unique and special. Their love and support for one another have made their friendship one that many would be jealous of, from trips to movie dates to long nights at the Washburn Library (late-night donuts and pizza... yummy). This special day couldn't be complete without this special person.
Lesly Muñoz - Bridesmaid
Lesly is one of the Bride's most caring and heartwarming friends (hence why she is a nurse). They met at Washburn, and Lesly's charismatic personality made her one of the Bride's closest friends. Lesly and Tanya were inseparable during college and then came Jeanette, and the three grew into amazing close friends. Although school has kept them apart, their friendship is still strong, and they have gotten the chance to travel, laugh, and spend holidays together. Lesly always knows what to do and how to make you feel welcomed and loved.
Diana Calderon - Bridesmaid
Meet Diana, a dear friend that embodies resilience and independence, qualities I deeply admire. Our journey began in college, where we shared sisterhood in the same sorority, but it was after graduation that our bond truly flourished, despite the distance between us—she resides in vibrant Florida while I'm in Topeka. Her unwavering strength and adventurous spirit infuse joy into every moment, making her an indispensable part of my wedding day. Without her infectious energy and unwavering support, the celebration wouldn't be complete.
Teal Tobin - Bridemaid
Teal, a kind heart, a creative soul, and a close friend to the bride. This special day could not be complete without her. They met while both worked at Olive Garden, from late nights at the restaurant their friendship grew into something special, and now Teal is an essential part of the brides inner circle. From movie dates, to concerts, to trips, and late nights at Lotus (trust me, if you know, you know) Teal has always been there for the bride, cheering, loving, and caring for her.
Emily Betancourt - Bridesmaid
Emily and the bride go way back to elementary school. However their relationship really blossomed in high school. Emily and the bride would always meet before school started and just talk about what the future would hold for them. After graduation they got even closer with having weekly dinners, to experiencing the night life of Los Angeles. Emily nis another of the brides long distance friend but even this does not stop them from traveling and enjoying life.
Raquel - Bridesmaid
Raquel is the final piece of the bridesmaid puzzle. Raquel is from Spain, you may be wondering how she and the bride even met? It was through David and his close friend Arick (Raquel's husband). Through their signifiant others Raquel became a good friend of the Bride, their love for food, music (mainly Bad Bunny), traveling, and culture lead them to become close friends. They shared many memories, from Halloween parties (pumpkin carvings), to Christmas (eating pozole yummy), Raquel became the final piece of the bride's puzzle for this special day.
Brian Clavijo - Bridesmain/Groomsmen
Brian shares a special place in the hearts of both David and Jeanette. While he is TECHNICALLY Jeanette's friend, David claims him for this special day. His honesty and loyalty speak volumes of who he is as a person and friend. You can't think of this bridal party without Brian. He is an essential part of this day. From Brian and Jeanette's late-night movies to their binge eating (trust me, the two of them can eat, lol) to their constant bullying of one another (if you witness this, don't worry, that's how they show love), Brian is a pivotal part of Jeanette's inner circle. Brian has been there for Jeanette since the first day they met (he said she was his type...if he were straight), and in very critical moments of her life, they both have been there. Literal friend traditions have been made because of these two (Tuesday movies, Mizu, Mad Greek, Algo dulce, etc.). A special day requires exceptional people who love and support you but are honest with you and hold you accountable, and Brian is that and more.
Edson Barron - Best Man
Edson and David go way back... don't ask how far back because they probably don't even know. These two have always had each other's best interests at heart. Believe it or not, Edson was a test dummy for David during his college years (ask them about that story another time). Nevertheless, these two are more than just friends; they are close brothers, always up to something, seeing what new toy comes out or what team they will all have sick parlay for (they are kind of sports betting addicts). Through thick and thin, Edson has always been there for David, and he will need him the most on this special day.
Ray Martinez - Groomsmen
Ray, Edson, and David are always up to no good, always up to trouble, but always together. Ray makes up the third of the trio; some say he's the wildest of the three, but one thing is for sure: he is always down for a good time! Ray and David have shared countless memories, some of which we can't disclose (there are children), but he has also been a close friend and brother to David, always supporting and cheering him on. They are so close, in fact, Ray recently trusted David and Jeanette with something extraordinary: a surprise gender reveal for their soon-to-be baby (it was a girl, by the way). This special day couldn't be done without the iconic trio, especially Ray; you'll probably see him on the dance floor at some point without a shirt.
Rico Gamez - Groomsmen
Rico is a loyal friend, a hard worker, and the kind of person you want in your corner cheering you on. Rico and David's friendship has always been a close one, from the days of the crazy parties (again, I can't disclose more details... there are kids here) to their passion for pushing one another in the gym and in life. Rico has always been a great friend and someone this day couldn't be without.
James Streeter - Groomsmen
James is one of David's closest work friends during his time at Olive Garden, from late nights at the restaurant to late nights taking care of the girls on a long night out (he was a trooper at Power and Light). James has always been a dear friend, and supporter of not only David but Jeanette as well. Sharing this special day with such a kind and loving spirit as James is simply a must! Dont let his skin tone fool you, he's more Latino than you might think ;)
Shawn Herrman - Groomsmen
Shawn and David have a special relationship. From their days in chiropractic school, they always pushed one another to be the best they could, and they did (both graduated top of their class). They've shared countless memories, including late nights studying, opening an office together, and even having David be part of Shawn and his wife's special day. He, too, is like a brother to David, and their friendship will be held firm until the end of time.
Alejandro Montoya Beltran - Groomsmen
Alejandro and David's relationship is truly a special one. They also met while in chiropractic school, and their friendship was full of laughter and jokes. Alejandro always brings a smile and a laugh anywhere he goes. You could always catch David and Alejandro studying, working hard, and talking about their future dreams, cheering one another on. When things got tough, they looked for one another, knowing that they could take on any challenge and surpass it and be the best. Trust me, you will know who Alejandro is; he will be talking to just about anyone, and by the time he leaves, you'll swear you've known him all your life. A great friend but an even better brother in life.
Arick Recinos - Groomsmen
Believe it or not, Arick is one of David's oldest friends. They go back to their days in elementary school. Like anyone in those stages in life, you grow up with them, but eventually, you grow apart. Well, life had a different plan for these two. When Arick returned from overseas while in the military, the two reconnected in the most modern way possible: an Instagram DM; that is all it took for these two to pick up where they left off from their elementary and high school days. Their friendship picked up where they left off and grew exponentially. Arick and his wife Raquel helped David with the engagement by holding on to the ring and being part of the fantastic group of friends that traveled to Disney in Orlando to witness what some would say was the most magical day of David and Jeanette's lives.
