Jeff and Michelle first met as seniors at the University of San Diego in the theater department. See, there's this fun little student-run theater event called "Student Lab" that Michelle auditioned for and Jeff wrote a play for. Although Michelle was cast in roles that weren't a part of Jeff's play, they still bonded over their Lebanese roots after auditions. Their first date was at the Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park and the rest, as you say, is&nbsp;history.&nbsp;

Not wanting to end a good thing once graduation hit,&nbsp;Jeff and Michelle soon found themselves dating long-distance while Michelle worked on her Ph.D at UNLV and Jeff worked as an Analyst for the Navy in San Diego. The hardest distance&nbsp;occurred&nbsp;while&nbsp;Michelle lived and worked in Berlin for 6 months,&nbsp;but of course, she gave Jeff a great excuse to visit both&nbsp;Berlin and Paris!&nbsp;After&nbsp;4.5 years of countless text messages and long drives between LV and SD, they finally&nbsp;closed the distance early 2017.&nbsp;









On July 4, 2017, Jeff decided that it was time to recognize what everyone knew all along... that&nbsp;they should get married! Jeff proposed at Shelter Island right after&nbsp;the Fourth of July fireworks ended... providing a much more spectacular finale then the fireworks could ever provide.&nbsp;

The Skirball Cultural Center is located in the Sepulveda Pass just off the 405 Freeway, 2.5 miles south of the 101 Freeway.&nbsp;

Parking is FREE at the Skirball!

Parking is available in the Skirball’s northern parking garage ("North Parking"), located underground at the end of the Skirball's main driveway. Parking is also available in in the eastern parking garage ("East Parking"), located across Sepulveda Blvd, but the northern parking garage is much closer to where the ceremony and reception will be taking place.&nbsp;



To enter the North Parking garage&mdash;From Skirball Ctr. Dr., proceed up the Skirball's main driveway, pass the Skirball's main entrance on your left, follow the curve, and drive underground into the garage.



To enter the East Parking garage&mdash;From Sepulveda Blvd., turn onto Bergreen Pl., located north of Skirball Ctr. Dr., directly across Sepulveda from the Skirball’s main entrance.

The only thing better than a workout is a workout that ends with wine, and this fun and active group outing in the Santa Monica Mountains answers the call.
