If you're staying near Jeff and Bridget's place, we highly recommend exploring Chinatown. Some personal favorites or ours include:

- Lipo: A local dive bar that is home to the Chinese Mai Thai: a knockout drink that was one of Anthony Bourdain's favorites. Make sure you check out the hidden downstairs area for that classic dive bar feel.

If you're looking for great food, eclectic stores, a beautiful park, and some of your favorite authors' most beloved cafes and bars, we recommend you check out North Beach, San Francisco's "Little Italy." Located a brief half mile away from our apartment, this is easily one of our favorite neighborhoods in the city. 10/10 recommend!

Grab breakfast at a San Francisco classic, located right in the heart of Union Square. Sears Fine Foods is a family favorite brunch spot for the Bowdens, complete with delicious Swedish pancakes, eggs Benedict, fresh OJ, and more.

Cheap, fast, and utterly delicious. Do yourself a favor and get some Raavi while you're here.

Browse one of our favorite buildings in the city! Complete with unique shops, San Francisco's famous sourdough, exceptional ice cream and clam chowder, wine tasting, and more, this is a great place to spend an hour or two. Plus, the Ferry Building is host to a Saturday morning/afternoon Farmer's Market. Grab some fresh oysters and peruse what our locals have to offer.
