Bart + Bus + Cable Car + Muni
If you plan on taking any sort of public transportation while you're here, we highly recommend downloading the Clipper app onto your phone. If applicable, then add it to your Apple Wallet. We have great public transportation in the city, and this will make everything so much easier!

Driverless Cars
Take a step into the future while you're visiting. San Francisco is currently home to Waymos -- driverless ridesharing vehicles that will take you anywhere in the city. However, Waymos are still a new addition, so using them is not guaranteed. If you are at all interested in experiencing an autonomous vehicle, we recommend signing up for Waymo's waiting list. Spots are limited, but from what we hear, well worth the experience.
Grant Plaza Hotel
This is a budget hotel located right next to our apartment! The rooms may not be anything to write home about, but the staff is super friendly, and you'll have everything you need. Plus you're next to a great coffee shop, are in the heart of Chinatown, and again -- you'll be right next to our apartment. We're only 350 feet away!
The Ritz-Carlton
Looking for a luxury stay while you're in the city? Want to be next to our apartment (and I mean right next to our apartment)? We absolutely recommend the Ritz-Carlton. Rooms are expensive, but if you book far enough ahead, you may be able to snag a deal -- consider treating yourself!
Hilton San Francisco Financial District
Stay at the hotel that started it all! We booked this Hilton for a short night while awaiting news on Jeff's first San Francisco Schwab interview. Three months later, we moved into an apartment half a mile away.
This is a great location if you want to be in the heart of the skyscrapers. You'll be nestled in the Financial District, half a mile from Schwab, half a mile from us, and near enough to the Embarcadero to enjoy the Bay breeze and some great chowder. We definitely recommend!

-- This is a morning ceremony! Time is of the essence, so consider booking a hotel near City Hall.
-- Our reception will be held at 1327 Polk Street. This is a lively part of the city that doubles as a quaint neighborhood. If you'd like to be near home once the reception ends, staying in this area is a great bet. Plus, you'll be a 15-20 minute walk from our apartment and have many great restaurants and entertainment options nearby!
**Note**
Please do not stay in the Tenderloin. We want everyone to be safe, and this is the one area of the city that we ask you avoid for your accommodations.
