July in Calgary is hot and sunny with around 12 hours of sunshine per day. Temperatures can reach the high 20's but it gets cooler in the evening and in the mountains if you take a trip there. You can expect occasional showers throughout the month.

We have intentionally set the wedding date shortly after the famous Stampede that takes place in Calgary annually for any out of town guests who might want to attend this event. The dates of the Stampede are July 4th - 13th. Please note that this is peak travel season for Calgary so accommodation can be a bit pricier during these days. If you are just coming for the wedding we recommend arriving after the Stampede has ended.

The venue for the wedding is at the Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire. This is in the heart of downtown Calgary close to the beautiful Prince's Island park. Downtown Calgary is easily accessible via Public Transit and the LRT.

We are very excited to share that our adventures continue with Kevin moving to Malaysia and living together in Penang. This will be Kevin's first experience moving internationally. We hope to travel light and do our best to leave behind large, bulky items.
