We met at Alex and Alia's wedding in November of 2019, Jen was on winter break from pharmacy school and Zack was a groomsman.

If you ask Jen, she was smitten at first sight... If you ask Zack he had a few too many tequila shots off the ice luge...

Luckily, Jen remembered that Zack was living in Dallas and she wanted to plan a fun country line dancing-themed bachelorette for Elizabeth (Jen's now Bridesmaid). So she took the first leap of faith in asking Zack's brother Nick for Zack's number.

Unfortunately, 2020 ruined the bachelorette party... but Jen and Zack continued keeping in contact. We found out we had a lot of common interests, traveling, hiking, and astronomy to name a few.

After being texting pen pals for all of 2020, we decided to meet in person on December 28th, 2020. Jen walked away from that meeting feeling "strictly friend vibes" and even vented to Krista that it just wasn't meant to be... But Zack kept texting and we continued chatting.

Jen stated how she wanted to take a trip somewhere in January 2021 to get her mind off waiting around for pharmacy residency interviews and Zack suggested she come out to Dallas! Zack also confessed that there was more than "strictly friend vibes" and would like to explore the potential for a relationship ... Jen agreed to come out to Dallas to see how things went.

We started officially dating on January 17th, 2021!
