The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is an association of member wineries, located in the Seneca Lake American Viticultural Area (AVA) within the Finger Lakes AVA of New York State. Seneca Lake wineries make exceptional cool climate wines. Of course Riesling is one of our best-known varietals, but that’s not all we do.
If you’re planning a visit to the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, our “Current Winery Offerings” page is a great place to start. The vibe here is best described as welcoming and relaxing. Look for our member winery signs to sit, sip, and enjoy at wineries who are dedicated to making wines that are Grown Here. Made Here.
The historic, charming, and picturesque small city of Geneva on the northern rim of Seneca Lake is a great place to shop for unique gifts including specialty food and wine, creative jewelry, antiques and even bicycles!
People come from all over for the high quality bicycles, bike rentals, special orders, and custom fittings at the Geneva Bicycle Center, voted one of the Top Bike Shops in the USA!
Another downtown shopping gem is Stomping Grounds, a one-of-a kind retail shop offering new and used books, carefully chosen gift items, prints and photos of the Finger Lakes, original and reproduction antique maps and custom framing.
Around the corner is FLX Goods who call themselves “The General Store of the Finger Lakes” and you will definitely see why when you enter the store full of everything from bath and body products to coffee and tea to jams, jellies and preserves, all locally sourced in the Finger Lakes.
You may want to bring an empty suitcase and cooler to take home all of your Geneva shopping treasures!
