At 23, Jena's little sister Emily may be the youngest Matron of Honor you've met. To find the Matron of Honor at our wedding, just look for the least matronly person you can find. Emily and Jena have been inseparable since Emily's birth on April 5, 1992, the day Jena still considers the best day of her life (December 19, 2015 is sure to create a tie). Emily is a writer by trade, and Jena's favorite poet. Emily and Jena had slumber parties every night throughout their childhoods, and fell asleep talking and laughing about Elvis movies. It's a good thing Nick and Emily's husband Matt are friends.

Don't let this blonde's bombshell appearance fool you; she's a PhD candidate and earth-saving biologist. Jena and Natalie liked few people other than each other in high school, and though their hearts have since expanded, they always have a special and massive place in each other's. Someday, they plan to live on a communal property with Nicholas, and Natalie's husband Bo. Nicholas and Bo will be informed of this post-nuptials.

Claire is a truly scrumptious human being with a heart of gold and hair to match. She and Jena lived together in college, and despite the campus housing directors being VERY glad when the troublemaking sisters left, Claire's charm and wit has landed her as Head of Alumni at that self-same university. While Jena and Claire miss having nightly singalongs together, they still occasionally leave lengthy musical voicemails for each other that only a bosom buddy could love.

Elena, femme fatale-cum-sweetheart, has had Jena laughing to the point of injury since 2001. They starred in very serious plays together, but no matter how hard the director tried to instill a sense of solemnity and respect for playwrights long dead, Jena and Elena only stopped messing around and laughing for the two hour length of the plays. Elena is the "other mother" of Jena and Nick's dog, Boombi, who, to be honest, prefers her.

Allie is Nick's beloved sister, and the bride couldn't be more thrilled with the sister she's inherited and the friend she's found. Allie has that irresistible Abraham smile and - despite working as a doctor - has a singing voice that Jena and Nick hope to exploit in their planned All Star Family Band.
