We LOVE Stout's Island Lodge and want to strongly encourage you stay on the island for the weekend if your schedule and budget allow it. Lodging options on the island include rooms within the historic main lodge, or a variety of rooms in small cabins (2–5 rooms per cabin) scattered across the island — every room is unique!

We are allowed a limited number of rooms for our wedding (25 total rooms), and the Lodge does require wedding guests to reserve their room for both Friday and Saturday nights. Our guests get a 15% discount on their rooms, and with this discounted rate, rooms range from about $150 – $360 per night.

If you plan on staying on the island, take a look through room options. We already have some rooms booked for us and close family in Shore Lodge and Gardener’s, but there are several other locations available! Unfortunately, if you try to use Stout’s online booking system, the only rooms that will show up as available that weekend are ones that aren't reserved for our wedding (which you shouldn't try to book). Please call (715) 354-3646 to work with a staff member to book your stay — mention that you’re with the Rud / McDermott wedding Oct. 11–13, and work with their staff to help find a room that fits your needs and preferences. Note that November–April is the lodge's off-season, so you may have difficulty connecting with someone before May!
