What is the dress code?

Formal dress code. Men: Suits are requested. If you prefer not to wear a suit, we kindly ask for dress pants with a collared shirt, and a tie is encouraged. Women: Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are welcome. No whites or creams. Bright colors are highly encouraged! However, if you strongly prefer to wear black or dark colors, that is fine, too. Kindly no jeans, shorts, or overly casual attire. Shoes should be grass-friendly and dance-ready. We also recommend bringing a sweater, shawl, or jacket depending on the weather.

Will we be indoors or outdoors?

Tree House Vero Beach is nestled amongst a private, 10-acre tree farm sanctuary (sprayed for insect control), including lychee, mango, oak, and a wide variety of palm trees. The wedding ceremony and the cocktail hour will both be outdoors. The reception will be under the open-air covered/roofed space for dining and dancing. There is an outdoor lounge area with a fire pit and a cedar shack bar. While January in Florida is typically warmer than most places, there will be space heaters if the temperature is appropriate for them. We also recommend you bring a light jacket. In the event of inclement weather, the venue has weatherproof, clear roll-down walls.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one/guest?

If you were invited with a plus-one or guest, their name was included on your formal invitation and appeared when you RSVP’d on our wedding website. We’re only able to accommodate guests who were explicitly named on the invitation/online RSVP process. Thank you so much for understanding.

What time does the wedding start?

We ask that guests start arriving at Tree House at 3:00 PM. Please plan to arrive no later than 3:15 PM to allow time to park and be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We strongly recommend allowing extra time for travel in case of traffic!

What is parking like at the venue?

Tree House has ample on-site private parking and parking attendant(s) to accommodate personal vehicles or drop off services like Uber. Vehicles are not allowed to be left overnight.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Thank you for your love and generosity as we begin our most exciting chapter together yet. Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift of all. For those who have asked, we’ve created a small, thoughtfully curated registry, along with a Honeymoon & New Home Contribution Fund, which can be found under our website's “Registry” tab. As we are fortunate to already have many of the home essentials we need, we kindly ask that gifts be selected from our registry or directed toward these funds, which will help us create meaningful memories on our honeymoon and support our future home plans. We will also have a card box and gift table available at the wedding. We are so grateful for your support, and we truly can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Will there be an after party?

For those that want to keep the party going a little longer, meet us at The Boiler bar at 3410 Ocean Drive on the ocean side of the street between The Reef Resort and the Ocean Breeze Inn. We will also be hosting an open-house style brunch the day after the wedding at 10 Seagull Ave, with catering from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so you can stop by, eat, mingle, and enjoy the morning at your own pace.

What is there to do in Vero? What restaurants do you recommend?

Check out our "Activities & Dining" / Things to Do tab at www.theknot.com/jenn_and_evan/things-to-do where we've included plenty of recommendations for our favorite activities and restaurants for a taste of Vero.

How and when do I need to RSVP by?

RSVPs were due by December 9 and have now been finalized. Our online RSVP form is closed. If you must make a change to your RSVP, please contact Jenn or Evan directly as soon as possible!

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding day is for adults only. We hope that you will take this opportunity to have a night for yourselves and enjoy the party with us! We appreciate your understanding.

The bride and groom will be staying at the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel and Spa. Our limited block of rooms that has been reserved for our guests is now full. If you’d still like to stay here, you can book directly with the hotel at their regular rate. If those who have booked under the room block want to upgrade their room type, book additional nights, etc., please contact Elizabeth Kendall directly at 772.469.1064 or elizabeth.kendall@ihg.com. Be sure to reference the Annand Kalish Wedding Room Block (code AKW) and provide your confirmation number.
