It was another boring, monotonous day of Covid pandemic isolation in solitary confinement, doing home workouts, rewatching the same Netflix shows, making TikToks for self-entertainment, and baking unnecessary loaves of banana bread that would end up uneaten but helped pass the time. Jenn was in the midst of working from home as a Talent Manager for CBS Sports. She was undeniably unaware that it was her job that was going to lead her to find her soulmate, a man that would change her life forever.




Jenn was contacted that day by Roger Gonzalez, a CBS Sports Soccer Writer. Roger requested that Jenn coordinate an interview between CBS and US Soccer superstar Weston McKennie. Now, in order to get to Weston, Jenn had to go through a prominent soccer agent and a former US soccer star himself, Cory Gibbs. After a brief (and professional, they swear!) conversation, Cory and Jenn decided it would be a good idea to meet to network further.




From the moment they met, their worlds collided. Two hearts that beat as one from the very beginning. They became more than partners - they were best friends with the same goals, passions, and unconditional love for each other. A puzzle piece fit only God could have designed.




Just under two years later, Cory surprised Jenn with a romantic, rose petal and candle-filled proposal in Chicago on April 23, 2022 (Jenns birthday, best one shes had yet!). They are unequivocally excited to embark on their new adventure in front of family and friends, in a wedding filled with holiday spirit, joy, and lots and lots of love.
