I have personally dove with Rama at Scuba public. He is awesome! Price points are great and amazing service as safety, having fun, and being educated on the area, and what you are seeing are what you look for in a guide.

Highly recommend diving a cenote if you haven't as this part of the world is specific to these underwater caves! the shipwreck dive is also fantastic!

It will be bull shark season if that tickles your fancy, so they can go and seek those out.

You can also get certified if you aren't yet.

They can provide transport from the hotel to Puerto Morelos which is about 30-45 min south of the resort
