Consider a visit to Alcatraz! Ironically, Sandeep has lived in SF for 9 years and still has yet to visit. You will need to book a tour ahead of time.
Consider walking at least part of the Golden Gate! The bridge is a little under 2 miles. The morning is the best view of downtown, although it can be foggy!
Full House made the ladies famous. Alamo square park boosts both the ladies and a great view of downtown!
The famous sea lions live here. Unfortunately, most will have migrated for breeding season over the summer, but a few will remain!
Golden Gate park starts at the end of Haight-Ashbury. Our favorite parts include the botanical gardens area (just at the eastern entrance), as well as Strawberry Hill. If you are included, there is a part with bisons as well!
Haight Ashbury was the peak of the 60s and 70s. The 1967 "Summer of Love" centered here. Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, and Hunter S Thompson all thrived here. Eerily, the Manson clan also found its roots in the Haight!
This is Jenna's favorite city hangout during warm days. You'll see everything from slack lining, nude sunbathing, and the best view of downtown.
A trip to SF is only complete with taking the Hyde St cable car and stopping at crooked Lombard Street!
Sandeep's favorite place in San Francisco, and one of our favorite strolls. It starts just below the Golden Gate bridge.
This park used to be a military base, it is now known for its nature. You may run int a coyote or two, and the redwoods are amazing here!
