Jenna's sister. Known for her childhood past time of throwing shoes at Jenna in retaliation to Jenna throwing a ball yelling "catch baby" when Kristin was brought home from the hospital. Kristin recently had her first (human) baby in March, bringing Maddie home to Kristin's fur-babies Lila, Chloe, and Elsa.

Jenna and Ruta met on the interview trail in medical school, where Jenna obviously overshared her opinion about USC hospital, and Ruta took this to heart. Several months later, they ended up at the same residency. Plagued by long hours, daily phone calls started with "Ruts, you're not going to believe this" and at some point "to be fair" was thrown in. Ruta loves love, and has been the biggest proponent of Jenna and Sandeep's relationship and she remains Jenna's "voice of reason".

Also a co-resident, Jasleen's love (or hate) of politics and traveling the world tied their friendship. Jasleen remains the second saved number in Jenna's phone. She is an oncologist practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona, and lives with her husband, Nathan, who also is officiating the wedding!

You'll find Akshay and Sandeep golfing most weeks. Together, they have moved their hobbies from triathalon, to skiing, to tennis, and now to golfing. Akshay and Sandeep met at USC business school. Akshay works as a product manager and recently got married himself.

Sandeep first met Nagi in undergrad where they shared a joint college bus ride. Nagi is one of Sandeep's oldest friends. He moved to the US first. Sandeep and Nagi became much closer in 2012 when Sandeep was an intern and Nagi imparted his knowledge of the Bay Area.

Sanjay and Sandeep sat near to each other in their undergrad major. You'll find them debating stocks and tech long into the night. It sounds like arguing, but don't be fooled! Sanjay recently moved to the Bay Area with his wife and son.
