Dave and Jenna met through their hobby the SCA. One night Dave messaged Jenna on facebook while he was at a play in Chicago. The play was a goofy production at Second City called "LARP Fiction." There was an actress with red hair playing the character of a dragon (Sky Pilot). Dave told Jenna he thought she would do a better job playing the dragon than the actress. Jenna was slightly confused but curious. They talked on messenger for a few months before Dave finally asked Jenna out on a date. They went out on May 10th! Jenna went to the wrong venue and was late (shocker). The two had drinks before the show they were going to see. The night was wonderful and the two had an evening that spilled into the early morning hours strolling around Chicago. It ended with holding hands and a sweet first kiss.
