Jenna and Bryan first met in the summer of 2015 through a truly prestigious means (ok, maybe it was an Online platform). They embarked upon many dates hiking through Columbia, MO.

Bryan brought Jenna to St. Louis to meet his family after what he described as his mom "aggressively wanting to meet her." At the time, Jenna was still just "girlfriend" in the eyes of Sis, Amanda.

After meeting Jenna's family only one time before, Bryan agreed to join them locked up in a confined boat for over 7 days.

With Bryan's background in nutrition and exercise physiology, he had a passion for lifting heavy things. Jenna was still a long-distance runner, a hobby on the opposite side of the fitness spectrum. However, after about a year of working out together, Jenna started taking lifting seriously. Bryan cautiously approached being a "trainer" for Jenna (meaning that he had to hold his tongue many times from correcting her horrible form).

In 2017, Bryan jumped into his first powerlifting meet, where he absolutely dominated deadlift!

As if Bryan was not already a member of the Lee family, Jenna's sister, Lauren asked Bryan to "marry her". Thus, Bryan was the officiant for Lauren and Tanner's wedding.

After 5 years, Jenna finished her PhD dissertation in Neuroscience at Mizzou. Bryan was her rock through the whole process!

Graduation from Mizzou meant finding a Postdoc position in another state. Jenna moved to Michigan State University (Lansing MI) while Bryan finished his Masters in Public Health at Mizzou.

Jenna and Bryan made many long trips driving (or flying) to visit each other during the nearly full year they lived apart. They were able to spend Christmas and New Years together in Columbia, MO celebrating with their CoMo Hasher Family.

Bryan made MANY trips from Columbia to visit Jenna in Lansing, often driving 9 hours through the night. This visit, they meet up with the Lansing Hasher Crew on trail. Shortly after this trail (March 2020) Bryan earned himself a professional job at the State of Michigan. He would be able to move to Lansing and join Jenna by April 2020! What could possibly go wrong?

Jenna and Bryan continue to travel when they can. Visiting Kennedy Space Center for rocket launch. Unfortunately, the launch was scrubbed, but still had the chance to nerd out with NASA.

June 2024, Traverse City, Michigan. Bryan had 2 more days to propose before Jenna said "I'll propose to you"

Empire Bluffs in Traverse City. He asked, she thought about it..... then said "Yes!"

Many friends and family traveled to St. Louis in April 2025 to celebrate Jenna and Bryan's upcoming wedding.
