Important to note! Guests may arrive on-site no earlier than 4:00pm. If arriving prior to this time, guests will be asked to wait in the Rose Garden until you can be brought in. The ceremony begins at 4:30pm.

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. Our photographer and videographer are amazing and would love to capture your faces, not your devices. Please be sure to put away your phones and cameras and enjoy this special moment with us. We also kindly ask you to wait before sharing any images on social media until the weekend is over. Thank you!

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. The reception will take place under a tent with flooring. Please note: If the wedding ceremony is held outside, it will be on grass. Please plan your shoes accordingly.

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire.

Blithewold has a large parking lot on site where guests can park. The venue will have a security guard at the entrance to direct everyone to the parking lot and then to the ceremony.

Transportation will be provided to/from the hotel block and the wedding venue. We will have school bus shuttles running from Sonesta Select to Blithewold for the start of the wedding day festivities and from Blithewold to Sonesta Select at the end of the wedding day. The times are as follows -- 3:35 PM Boarding, 3:45 PM Departure from Sonesta Select Hotel to Blithewold Mansion. 10:00 PM Departure from Blithewold Mansion to Sonesta Select Hotel.

The meal options are as follows: Chicken: Stuffed statler chicken, fontina, spinach and portabella stuffing, whipped maple sweet potatoes, heirloom carrots and pearl onions, rich pan sauce. | Beef: Grilled top sirloin, garlic green beans, corn soufflé, chimichurri sauce. | Vegetarian: Vegetable tart, zucchini, squash, peppers, and sun-dried tomatoes wrapped in pastry, summer greens, tomato vinaigrette. | There will be one selection for kids meal, which will be chicken tenders and fries.

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Please note that the releasing of balloons, the throwing of rice, confetti, birdseed, flower petals by guests, or any other materials are not permitted anywhere on Blithewold property at any time.
