The school bus (yes, its a bus!) will pick guests up at the hotel at 4:00pm and again at 4:30pm to get everyone to the wedding in time for the 5:00pm ceremony start. Coming back, the bus will pick up guests at the wedding at 9:30pm and again at 11:00pm (at the end of the reception) to bring everyone back to the hotel.

We hope you're able to enjoy the school bus experience, but if you happen to miss it, you can always take a short Uber or Lyft ride from the hotel.

Yes! There is plenty of parking on the farm for anyone that prefers to drive to the venue for the wedding. Once there, you'll see signs to direct you where to park.

Yes! Safety is the #1 priority. You may leave your car at the farm for any reason, just be sure to pick it up by 10am on Sunday.

For our many out-of-town guests, please note that the wedding is *not* close to the city of Chicago. The venue and hotel are located in Yorkville, IL, about 50 miles (1-2hr drive) southwest of downtown. We would recommend getting a rental car if you're able. If you would prefer not to get a rental car, you can also use Uber/Lyft to get to/from the airport to Yorkville. (Please note: the public transportation system does *not* go all the way to Yorkville). If you're taking an Uber/Lyft to get to the hotel, it is an estimated cost of $100 one-way from downtown Chicago, or about $75 one-way from either O'Hare Airport (ORD) or Midway (MDW). Please let us know if you need help coordinating! We have a lot of guests from out of state (and even international!) so we know a lot of folks are choosing to spend extra time in Chicago while they're here. We are so glad that you can come celebrate with us and we're more than happy to provide help. Either one works, although we personally prefer Midway (MDW) over O'Hare (ORD) for convenience and ease of access. Both are 40-50 miles from Yorkville.

At the end of May/early June in Chicago, the weather is mostly comfortable, with afternoon temperatures around 75 F (23 C). The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting) and then the reception will be mostly indoors, with access to the outdoor patio for bags and late-night s'mores! *Please be mindful of shoes, as high heels may be especially difficult to walk in the grass for the ceremony*
