No trip to Florida is complete without a trip to Disney or Universal Studios.
Bride's Recommendation: Check out the awesome new Toy Story land at Hollywood Studios, Pandora at Animal Kingdom, eat/drink your way around the world at Epcot, or visit all the Disney princesses at The Magic Kingdom. Still want the feel of Disney without spending a ton, visit Disney Springs! (the Paddlefish Resturant is where the bride's parents had their wedding reception!)

Groom's Recommendation: You can't go wrong with spending a day at Hogwarts, or any of the Universal/Islands of Adventure rides! From the Simpsons, MIB, Dr. Seuss, or Marvel Universe the groom is obsessed with these theme parks. Not to mention, because it's summer time the new Volcano Bay water park!
The team that brought the groom to Tampa Bay in the first place! While interning for the Rays in 2013 Josh fell in love with the area and found a full-time job in the Bay Area that allowed him to become a fairly frequent visitor to Tropicana Field (even taking Jen there on their first date). As luck would have it, the Rays actually happen to have home games every day of wedding weekend! Any guests interested in attending a game while in town for the wedding should use this link provided by groomsman and Rays employee David Egles for discounted tickets.
The site of the bride and groom's second date, the Dali Museum is a world-class collection of works from the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali. The museum also rotates works from other famous artists regularly in their special exhibit hall, and we will update this space once the exhibit that will be open in August is announced. Josh's favorite restaurant in St. Petersburg and a popular spot for some of the best burgers and brunch in the 'Burg. Features indoor and outdoor seating and a creative menu with excellent hamburgers (you gotta try the one with mac and cheese!), apps, and desserts (the S'mores Jar is a favorite of the happy couple). Check out their full menu at their website: http://theavenuedtsp.com/
Owned and operated by the same people behind The Avenue (and right next door to the restaurant), this adult playground and arcade features classic arcade games, air hockey, giant beer pong, and more (including their own food menu)! Check them out here: http://parkrecdtsp.com/
This unique spot in downtown St. Pete's Sundial shopping center is part specialty food market and part food hall, featuring diverse and incredibly delicious quick service offerings ranging from burgers to ramen to pizza and pasta to ice cream and more! This is where Josh and Jen got dinner on their first date, and it is also one of their favorite places to take guests when they visit Tampa Bay. An absolute must for any wedding guests that consider themselves even a little bit of a foodie! https://localegourmetmarket.com/
A St. Pete icon for more than a quarter century, this grocery store/deli/bakery/coffee house/specialty market has something for everyone and is a must whenever the bride's parents come across the bridge and visit St. Petersburg. If you visit don't miss the cheese room or overlook the excellent deli sandwiches (a lunchtime staple when Josh worked for the Rays). https://www.mazzarosmarket.com/
St. Petersburg is absolutely brimming with some of the best beaches in the country. St. Pete Beach is the most popular, featuring an abundance of popular restaurants and bars. It is also the preferred vacation destination of the groom's parents, who have rented a condo on St. Pete beach for years.
For those looking for something a little more low-key, a few miles down the road is Pass-A-Grille beach, a spot more popular with locals (including the bride and groom) with much easier parking and it's own collection of cute restaurants and bars.
Finally, Clearwater Beach is regularly recognized as one of the best beaches in America, and is a popular vacation destination.
No matter which one you choose, you won't regret soaking up some sun and sand while in town for the wedding!
Where Josh and Jen met! This adorable town on the waterfront in south St. Pete features a number of quaint locally-owned shops and eateries, and is a great place to walk around and browse the shops!
St. Pete's main drag is block after block of delicious restaurants, breweries, and eclectic boutiques and stores (be sure to stop in at ZaZoo'd!). Josh and Jen have spent many an afternoon simply walking up and down Central Ave and stopping in wherever caught their fancy. You can't go wrong no matter where you end up!
St. Pete's waterfront offers a number of great parks and views, including a marina, public beach volleyball courts, and the potential for dolphin spotting!
St. Pete has an amazing craft brewery scene, and this is among our favorites because not only does it have delicious beer, it also features a giant event space filled with games like darts, foosball, and table shuffleboard as well as a stage for live music that is in use most weekend nights. https://3dbrewing.com/
