Feel free while waiting between the ceremony and cocktail hour to explore Armature Works! They have a ton of restaurants and bars on the water in downtown Tampa. There is also a local park next door on the Hillsborough river to explore called Water Works.
Explore beautiful downtown Tampa by walking, or running along the Tampa Bay Riverwalk. You can get to just about anywhere from Armature works to the other side of Tampa along this scenic route!
A 360-degree waterfront restaurant and bar! Located near the heart of downtown Tampa at the convention center. On certain nights they have live music, food and drinks and it's dog friendly. If you're feeling adventurous there are a lot of local boat companies you can rent a boat from, or hop on board the local Pirate Water taxi!

If you're looking for some adventure, ZooTampa is one of the most kid-friendly Zoos in the United States. But just because it's kid-friendly doesn't mean it's not for the adults! This is one of Josh and Jen's favorite places! From the up-close safari ride to the kangaroos there are animals for everyone!
If you're a big fan of roller coasters and fun, we highly recommend hitting up Tampa's local theme park Busch Gardens. The MOH use to help run the Montu ride, but honestly you can't go wrong with any ride. There is something for everyone, and shows for those summer rain showers!
And if you're feeling too hot, head across the street to Adventure Island our huge water park that has a slide or lazy river for everyone to cool off!
If you are looking for a place to cool off in that Florida summer heat, look no further than the Florida Aquarium! It's a beautiful aquarium with fish from our own backyard- Tampa Bay!
Fun Fact: The bride had her Sophomore year Homecoming among the fishes!
If it's entertainment that is your thing, we highly recommend checking out the show schedule at the Straz center where you can check out theater performances from Broadway to local productions.
One of Tampa's oldest theaters, this place is a Tampa historic gem! Run as a non-profit they constantly have movies and shows running all year long. It's a beautiful theater to explore or sit back and enjoy a show at!
This free park hosts many festivals and has a gorgeous view of the river across from the University of Tampa. There is a playground for young ones, and a little water park for them to cool off. And if you just happen to love dogs like the bride and groom there is a local dog park here as well!
Anyone who knows the bride and groom knows their passion for art and theater! Check out our local Tampa Museum of Art for some beautiful artwork. Located next to Curtis Hixon Park, and the Straz Center along the Tampa Riverwalk.
It's fresh off the press, but there is a new hotspot called Sparkman Wharf! It's got a ton of food and drink available for everyone and it's right on the water! I'd say it's almost as cool as Armature works ;)
One of Tampa's most delicious resturants, and the Bride and the Groom's favorite! You can't go wrong with a mouth-watering meal at Datz. They have been featured on the Food Network multiple times!

This bistro bar will give you some gorgeous views on the water of downtown Tampa! The food is amazing especially if you love sushi. Even if sushi is not your thing don't let that stop you, because they have something for everyone!
You won't find this steak house anywhere else in the world! While on the pricier side, Bern's not only ages their beef, but grows all of their menu vegetables! This restaurant is very unique to Tampa Bay, and after you finish your meal you can take a tour of their kitchen or explore their giant wine cellar with some of the world's most expensive and oldest wines! After dinner- or if you're only having a sweet tooth, their dessert room is one that a former Baker (Jen) would approve of!

Tampa has a big Hispanic influence so it only makes sense that Florida's oldest restaurant has a variety of amazing Spanish dishes, and of course delicious Sangria. Located in Ybor City of Tampa, where Tampa's old cigar factories use to reside there is a variety of Hispanic heritage in this area.
Experience a live flamenco dance show on Fridays and Saturdays with a reservation for the show at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show and at 8:30 p.m. or 9 p.m. for the 9:30 p.m. show. There is an $8 cover charge per person for the show.
