Like many couples in today's world, we met through the magic of technology and then quickly scheduled our first date. Nick joked that he wasn't sure whether to hire Jennifer or date her, but since you're reading this on our wedding website you probably know which he chose.

Squeezing in a first date during lunch on a busy work day, we met at Kona Grill, where the waiter failed to catch that Nick's meal had tree nuts and we narrowly avoided an embarrassing trip to the ER.

Fast forward to a Valentine's Day date at Big Rock Tavern where we realized that we were "officially dating."

We share a love for exploring cities - especially our own (Detroit), beautiful churches, business development, cooking, trying new restaurants, sushi, dessert, hilarious television, board games, house projects, coffee, sunsets and nights out on the town.

For some couples, the Pandemic brought a realization that spending longer amounts of time together was intolerable. For us, it made us realize that we really enjoy one another's company and brought us even closer together. As such, we decided that life was too short to wait any longer and we started planning our wedding!

We'd hoped to wait until the world was a safer place and the pandemic was a thing of the past, but since the light at the end of that tunnel seems to continually fade into the distance we decided that there's no time like the present and started planning a Fall wedding! We realize that the notice is short - as is the guest list - and we sincerely hope you're all still able to make it.
