We first crossed paths seven years ago while working together at Outback Steakhouse.

Approximately a year later, we began to delve deeper into our connection, taking the opportunity to explore Philly with our sweet coworkers.

A week later we decided to make it official! At the time, Kyle was a student at Virginia Tech, and Jen was attending classes at the local community college. Numerous FaceTime calls and scenic 3 1/2-hour drives to Tech became our routine to navigate through this phase of our relationship.

Jen started attending classes at Longwood so now our distance was only 2 1/2 hours away, which means we spent lots of our weekends commuting between VT and LU (although, let's be honest, we found ourselves at VT more often because, well, it's just so breathtaking up there).

Kyle graduated!!! Of course, in the midst of COVID where his graduation was between the four walls of his parent's living room.

We have extended our family! We welcomed a new member when we rescued this sweet girl (Sophie) from around Jen's college house. She was attached to Kyle's hip since day 1!

Jen graduated!!! With both of us completing our Bachelor degrees, we were so ready for our next adventure!

Just one of our many amazing family Lakehouse trips filled with lots of swimming, paddling boats, card games, and pierogi making with the family!

We were so fortunate to be able to explore the beautiful country Costa Rica with our amazing group of friends! We were able to experience amazing food, great views, great company, and very competitive song association competitions.

We were incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to discover the breathtaking Bahamas with our wonderful group of friends! Activities included: relaxing, eating our bodyweight in food, attending comedy skits, and getting 20k+ steps a day (no taking the elevators!!)

Kyle is a sneaky guy.. let me tell you. We were so so so lucky to travel to the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany. Our activities included overnight train rides, breathtaking sights, amazing food, great company, lots of walking, oh and of course.. getting engaged to the love of my life!! Pictured behind me was 60 degree water that Jen took a dip into (Kyle on the other hand wanted no parts of that!)

We extended our family! We adopted a sweet little boy (Toby). While Sophie was initially hesitant, she has since embraced her role and loves being a caring big sister!
