A social event in the building brings Jenn and Jake into conversation for the first time. Jenn is on her way to another date. Jake is grateful this meant she was single.

Jenn and Jake go on their first date! Days later, Jenn attends Jake's birthday gathering. Jake calls the next day to share that he has Covid and all in attendance were exposed. Turns out, Jake was the only one who tests positive...a failed super-spreader! They don't see each other for another two months as Jenn takes off for her performances in Boston through the new year.

Jake and Jenn begin spending more time together in early 2022 with bike rides to Red Hook, seeing shows, and exploring the city together.

Jake invites Jenn to accompany him on a trip to Denver where Jake attends the wedding of his friends, Will and Meg. Jake does not invite Jenn to the wedding. Luckily, Jenn's best friend Amanda lives in Denver so she happily accepts the invitation. They pass the airport stress-test.

A momentous occasion. Jake takes Jenn to a Yankee game. A yankee hat is purchased and Jenn's Red Sox hat goes into storage. Forever. Jenn's grandfather Louis would have been thrilled to know she is dating a hardcore Yankee fan.

Jake hears Jenn sing live for the first time, singing the National Anthem at Gillette Stadium for the Patriots. Jake begins to learn how to handle the pressures of a performance career.

Jake and Jenn stare down the barrel of a live volcano (Mt. Vesuvio) in Italy and then head to Berlin to see Anne Byrne sing!

New Year's Eve 2022 is spent at home in 365 Bond making sushi, ramen and dumplings!

Jake and Jenn head to Puerto Rico for Eduardo and Steve's wedding. They extend the trip and explore the rainforest and San Juan!

Plants! Jake and Jenn expand their co-plant-parenting as new greenery is welcomed into the apartment.

Jake and Jenn channel "Everything Everywhere All at Once" for Halloween and Jake wears a wig for the first time. His stays on later in the night than Jenn's.

Jenn is welcomed onto the Ward holiday card for the first time of many!
