Dia Beacon is an indoor contemporary art museum right in town.

Storm King Art Center is an open air museum featuring large-scale contemporary sculptures. It’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown Beacon, and a big regional attraction. We recommend heading there when you have some time to walk around and explore.

Long Dock Park is also right in Beacon (near the Metro North station) and a great place for Hudson River views.

While you’re in downtown Beacon, head down Main Street for plenty of art galleries, vintage shops, and places to eat.

You can check out the Beacon Farmer’s Market on Sunday from 10am - 2pm
