Our Wedding

Dustin and Jennifer met in Fall of 2022 at Fresno State. They worked in the Learning Center of the Library as SI Leaders for Chem 1A. As they both worked for the same course, they were paired up a lot during meetings which allowed them to really get to know each other. Spring of 2023 came around and they became really close! They had physics together and decided to study one day for a big test they had. After this study session, Dustin used a lot of courage to ask Jennifer to hangout on the weekend. Jennifer said yes, but only if he could pick her up. They had their first date at River Park, though, Jennifer wasn't sure it was a date as Dustin didn't make it clear until the end of the date. During this date, they both realized they had a lot in common and that they liked each other. On 03/13/2023, Dustin asked Jennifer to be his girlfriend and she gladly accepted. Ever since, Dustin and Jennifer have been inseparable and can not wait to spend the rest of their lives together!

Dress Code

There's no specific dress code. Only rule is to wear something nice that you also feel comfortable in! (Avoid white dresses if possible :D )

The Drive between the Ceremony and Reception 

As the ceremony will be held at a church in Hanford and the reception will take place in a hall in Fresno, the drive will be around 50 minutes. We thank you for your presence and patience.

Parking

Clem's Hall provides limited parking spaces within the gates. Additional parking is shown with the areas marked in red.

Traditional Dances

Family and friends support the couple to make sure they don't fall. Guests who want to participate make a "snake" by holding hands. The "snake" then dances under and around the arch of the new couple trying to bump into them knock them down. The dance represents the challenges the new couple may face in their marriage and their strength to overcome them. This is a short dance that helps support the new couple with their honeymoon or new home expenses.

Church Ceremony

The ceremony is at a catholic church. We will be having a bilingual half mass.

Reception Hall

The reception will take place in Clem's Hall which is an indoor venue. It is a bit small, but there are restrooms provided. There is no seating chart or designated spots for guests other than the immediate families of the groom and the bride.

Your presence is truly the greatest gift, but if you’d like to bring something, you’re more than welcome to. For inspiration, feel free to browse our registry.

Guests

Are kids welcome? Absolutely! We just ask that little ones are supervised so everyone can enjoy the celebration safely. Is it okay to bring additional guests who weren’t listed on the invitation? We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Our reception space has a limited capacity, and we hope to keep the celebration intimate with the people we know and love.
