We love to cook together and try new places! It’s hard to choose, but our 6th month anniversary dinner at Abel Brown in Surrey Center was INCREDIBLE. Steven is still thinking about that tuna!

Waterfall hunting (first day trip) Athens (visited with Steven's extended family) Columbia (Riverbanks Zoo Christmas Lights) Savannah (SCAD was weird…) Charleston (day trip while on vacation in Edisto) Tallulah Gorge State Park (where Steven proposed!)

Most everything! Our core values line up very well — we quickly noticed that on our first couple of dates! Putting Christ first, being present in all the ways, and not letting our kids have phones until they’re teenagers (sorry kids!).

To own a home near walking and cycling trails! And support one another’s dreams and callings in every stage!

Lord of the Rings dominated our early conversations. Jenni was watching the Rings of Power series and reading the Silmarillion for the first time! Steven is a HUGE LOTR fan, so that was a gold star for Jenni!

1) Pro-life at every stage — womb to tomb. 2) Seeing and making space for people with physical and developmental disabilities to thrive in the church, our communities, and in all of life!

Our churches! We love attending church together, whether it's Mass together at St. Joe's and other Catholic churches in the area or Sundays and events at Mosaic. It is very important that we worship Jesus together as much as possible, even on vacation! We also love the North Augusta Greenway... you can find us there on Friday or Saturday mornings. We aren't regulars at many restaurants because we love trying new things! Sawasdee Thai Restaurant is one of our favorites (individually and together!).
