Saturday, August 9, 2025 is when we will tie the knot!

The wedding will take place at Green Acres Cottages in Codroy Valley, Newfoundland! The ceremony, social hour, and reception will be held on-site at the same venue. To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by June 9, 2025. However, we'd really appreciate it if you could RSVP as soon as you know whether you and your party can attend!

Please visit the "RSVP" page here on our website and type in your name. Each invited guest in your party will appear here for you to mark as "Accept" or "Decline". You can also text Jennifer at +1 (709) 694-3366 if you have trouble with the website!

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, you and your party will be marked as "Decline". Unfortunately, we need to have a precise headcount prior to the wedding. We will miss you celebrating with us and we hope that you can understand!

We will be so sad that we can't celebrate our big day with you! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate this on our "RSVP" page so we can plan accordingly. You will be missed!

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any additional guest. Each invited guest will be listed on your formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to "[Your Name] and [Your Name]'s Guest", you are able to bring a plus-one. Your guest's name will also appear when you RSVP. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied as we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event. Thank you for understanding!

We are hosting a family-focused celebration and kindly request that only children of our immediate family attend. If your children are invited, your invitation will list their name. Their name will also appear when you RSVP! We encourage you to use this as a night to relax, socialize, and dance! We appreciate you understanding and look forward to sharing this special day with you.

Our intention is to hold the ceremony and reception outside. Newfoundland weather can be unpredictable, but we've planned for that! We want everyone to have a wonderful time, rain or shine! Please dress accordingly!

Yes! Semi-casual attire is requested! Semi-casual wear for men may include a polo or button-down shirt. A traditional suit is not required. For women, it may include a short to mid-length summer dress. Please keep in mind, the entire event is outside. Wear whatever you feel the best in and to keep you cool in. We just kindly request that you avoid any colour that is traditionally reserved for the bride - White, cream, and ivory.

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Please arrive no earlier than 1:30 p.m. (as the venue will be getting decorated and we will be getting ready) and no later than 1:45 p.m. This will allow ample time for you to comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in before we say "I do!"

On-site parking is available at Green Acres Cottages.

We would love for each of you to be fully present in the moment with us! We ask that you kindly put your phone away and on silent for an "unplugged" ceremony. We have an amazing photographer and content creator hired to capture this amazing moment for us which we will be more than happy to share with you after the day. We would hate to have a well-meaning person's device blocking that moment for them to capture. Please enjoy the moment, in the moment. You are more than welcome to capture any photo or video once the ceremony has concluded.

We would kindly ask that no picture of the bride or groom are uploaded onto social media before Mr. and Mrs. S get a chance to make their first announcement as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be completing photography around the venue. You can enjoy the social hour to relax and socialize!

No. Our venue doesn't have a bar located on the property. Please bring your own beverage of choice to celebrate with us!

There is limited accommodation available at our wedding venue so we have contacted those in advance who are able to stay on site. Alternative accommodation can be found under the "Travel" page.

Deer Lake Regional Airport (YDF) is the closest airport. However, please note that from YDF to the venue it is a 2 hour and 40 minute drive.
