Jenny and Winston first met in the spring of 2017, just before the end of their freshman year at University of Colorado Boulder. Their first date was spent talking for hours, discussing everything from lectures to life goals and even the existence of aliens! They spent the following summer taking turns driving back and forth between Boulder and Littleton. They spent every weekend going on adventures, eventually becoming inseparable.

The rest of their time in college was spent together. Even when they both studied abroad in spring of 2019, they remained close to one another. As Jenny went to Granada and Winston to Barcelona, they were able to visit frequently and also experience contrasting regions of Spain.

Countless adventures, a few graduations and one global pandemic later, Jenny picked up her life and followed Winston to an exciting new job opportunity in the City of Angels. Almost exactly a year later, Winston left the same job to move to Galveston when Jenny got into medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

During a trip back to Colorado later that year Winston asked Jenny to marry him - and she said yes!
