Our love story took its first steps in the halls of FIU’s School of Music. As music students, we immersed ourselves in our art. I, a devoted student of classical voice, and Chris, a dedicated viola student, both pursuing a career in music business, found ourselves sharing the same classes during our college years. Though our encounters were brief and our conversations few, God had His plan in motion.

Life took us in separate directions after graduation. It was not until fate intervened that our paths crossed once again. I had already begun working at InnerCat Music Group when Chris arrived to interview for a position there. As luck would have it, we became colleagues.

What started as a professional collaboration slowly evolved into a friendship. Over the years, we discovered shared interests and values, deepening our bond with every passing day. There was an undeniable comfort we found in each other, a natural rhythm that resonated between us.

Patience played its part as our friendship organically blossomed into something more. It took courage for Chris to finally gather the strength and ask me on a date. From that moment forward, we embarked on a journey of love and companionship that would shape our lives in ways we never could have imagined.

Together, we experienced the joys of gigging at weddings, exploring different corners of the world, navigating unfamiliar territories and creating memories that would forever be cherished. Side by side, we faced the challenges that life presented, finding comfort and strength in each other.

And now, as we stand at the corner of our wedding day, we reflect upon the unique path that led us here. Surrounded by our loved ones, we take this moment to celebrate our journey together. It is a testament to the power of patience and true connection, reminding us that love can bloom in the most unexpected of circumstances.
