FAQs

When should I RSVP by?

To help us with our planning, we kindly request your RSVP by no later than July 19, 2024. It is essential for us to promptly share the final guest count with the venue to ensure a smooth planning process. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Are children allowed?

Although we love your little ones, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and respect to our decision to create an atmosphere where our adult guests can fully enjoy the event. We hope you can still join us in celebrating this special day.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation.

Should I rent a car?

Yes, we highly recommend renting a vehicle during your stay as there are no Ubers, Lyfts, or public transportation.

Are there Ubers or Lyfts in the area?

There are no Ubers or Lyfts in the area because it is a small town. You must rent a car and/or carpool accordingly. We will be providing day-of transportation on a first come first serve basis from certain hotels to the venue and back after the wedding concludes.

Which hotels will have transportation provided to and from the event?

Guests using the shuttle services will be picked up at The Hampton Inn & Suites Cashiers/Sapphire Valley at 3:15pm and at Hotel Cashiers at 3:30pm to arrive at Chimney Pond Farm by 4pm. Additionally, there will be 2 buses taking guests back to the pickup locations at 10pm and 11pm. Please fill out the form when RSVPing to secure your spot on the provided transportation. We ask that anyone NOT staying on property must not leave cars overnight as they will be towed at owners expense.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is a designated parking area at Chimney Pond Farm.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Whatever shoes you feel most comfortable in. Please keep in mind that our ceremony will take place in a grass lawn and "chunky" heels or heal stoppers for thin heels are suggested.
