Johnny Cartiglia - Best Man
We all know the phrase "brother from another mother," well that phrase fits perfectly for Johnny and I.Better known to me and almost everyone else attending this wedding as "Johnny"- him and I have been through thick and thin, the good and the bad, and everything in between. We grew up together and were always thinking about what to do next, or what not to do next.During the summer breaks I would stay over Johnny's house for days on end and that was pretty much an annual thing. We spent countless days eating tons of food, playing soccer, having some brews, and going out causing a bit of mayhem.Johnny's family, especially his mother and father, have been the closest thing to a second family to me as you can possibly get.Even when we'd be at each other's throats, it would always work itself out and no matter what we'd always be there for one another when push came to shove.Johnny currently lives in Burlington, Vermont and works for Rome Snowboards.I couldn't ask for a better brother like figure and I'm pumped to have you share this special wedding day with me.
Kelsey Goll - Maid of Honor
Kelsey is my little sister. We are 4 years apart and that used to cause us to fight a lot when we were younger but she has grown into one of my best friends over the years. She is a free spirit and one of the funniest people I know. No matter what kind of day you are having, Kelsey can always make you laugh or at least lighten your mood a little bit. Even though she is my younger sister, I look up to her in a lot of ways. She is extremely brave and she doesn't try to change who she is for anyone. She is a very caring, sincere person and I wouldn't trade her (anymore) for anyone else ;)
Christina Miller - Matron of Honor
Christina is my older sister. We are only about 17 months apart but she has always been my protector and "second mom." She is one of the strongest women I know. I have seen her go through really hard times in her life with ease and come out on top. I have always admired her in so many ways and she continues to amaze me now that she is a new mom and wife. Christina has always been very mature and I was always a little more rebellious, which evened out. However, when Christina does let loose it is the best thing you will ever witness. I got to stand by Christina's side when she married the love of her life a few years ago and I'm so happy that she will be next to me when I marry mine :)
Danny Drago - Best Man
Danny is one of my best friends and my college roommate at East Stroudsburg University.Danny and I were friends in junior high and high school, but once we teamed up in college it was a whole different ball game.We spent almost every day together for 4 years and have a huge laundry list of great memories. We were partners in crime doing pretty much everything together. We played soccer at ESU and were the captains of the team our senior year.Out of all the groomsmen, Danny and I are the most similar. We are both sports fanatics and enjoy some games of ping pong and Fifa in our off time.I'm honored to say I will be his best man for his wedding in September and I'm more than happy he is returning the favor.Danny currently lives in Allentown with his fiancé Adrienne and he works as a Mental Health Treatment Specialist.Whether we are causing havoc in Italy, Montreal, Vegas, or Florida just to name a few of the places we've been to, thanks for always having my back El Drago!
Cathy Stines - Bridesmaid
Cathy is my best friend from growing up. We met playing softball when we were 10 and have been best friends ever since. We are very opposite but also very similar in a lot of ways. I really don't like conflict so I will usually avoid it at all costs and Cathy will always speak her mind and be straight up with you. I have learned many things from Cathy over the years such as not ever letting a boy know that he broke your heart or got to you, wine helps ease menstrual cramps (and everything else, for that matter), if you're going to be late to first period study hall in high school, just skip it and go to Perkins (sorry mom and dad), and countless other things. She has been there through every high and low point in my life and I know she will be my best friend even when we are in our walkers and can't have random dance parties anymore.
Cory Barth - Groomsman
Cory was my first friend when I moved to Stroudsburg. He lived a couple houses away and after several hangouts we went together like spaghetti and meatball, not lamb and tuna fish.Out of all the groomsmen, Cory is probably the most opposite of me.Cory is skilled when it comes to film, music, art and he is a very creative individual.I'm none of those things ha.He got me into film and music as the years went on and I have a high interest in both things due to him.If you want some humor in your life, Cory Barth is your guy as he always can put a smile on your face. From growing up together making movies on his rooftop, throwing each other on ladders/barbed wire, quoting Austin Powers, or being hooligans on Dreher, I'm happy to call Cory one of my best friends. He currently lives in Brooklyn where he works as a Film Grip and I'm glad to have him by my side as I get married.
Mil Stevanovic - Groomsman
Mil is one of my most loyal friends and someone you can always count on.Even though he is late for everything, Mil is one of my main dudes.Growing up in the same neighborhood, we've had battles on the mat, pool basketball, pool table and other various activities.Mil attended and graduated from Syracuse, but we always kept in contact and would talk about whatever was going on in our lives.I'll always remember picking Mil up senior year of high school and us driving to school together every day. He'd be late, so after I was done yelling at him for that, we would always have solid conversations on the ride to school and that always made the day easier. He knows how to have a good time and always could make me laugh with his very unique European humor. Mil currently lives in New York City where he works for Time Warner. Thanks for always being there Milic.
Ashley Palko - Bridesmaid
Ashley and I met in college and became best friends pretty instantly. We were together all of the time and I was kind of like a third roommate even though I had my own apartment. I was there all of the time and we spent all of our weekends together. We loved getting dolled up and going out and taking a million pictures. Ashley would always do my hair and let me shop in her closet. She also used to make fun of me because I couldn't take shots. We were more like sisters than best friends. After college we ended up living close to each other near Philadelphia and spent all of our spare time together and never got sick of each other. Now that we are about two hours apart we still talk a lot and whenever I visit her I know I am in for a fun time with lots of sushi and lots of wine.
