In second grade, Jenny’s mom told her she could invite a friend to Gameworks. After Tara graciously accepted the offer, Jenny exclaimed, “Oh phew, all the other people I called before you couldn’t come!” Despite Jenny’s uncouth invitation, the two became best friends. Tara is the crème de la crème of people. They don’t get better.

Becky is Jenny’s sorority little. For the first few months of being big and little, they spoke very few words as neither are socially inclined. Then, at a fateful lunch at Photos Hotdogs, their friendship blossomed and they’ve been inseparable since. Living in different states can’t keep these two apart with their daily texts and weekly FaceTimes. Jenny is incredibly grateful for a best friend like Becky.

Courtney and Jenny were cool kids in elementary school. They would walk around the playground looking for litter, made countless home videos, and as best friends do, they even shared pet frogs named Luigi Squigi and Swiffer (RIP). Courtney is the best sneaky prankster and the life of the party.

Hannah is Jenny’s cousinbestfriend. With just six months between them in age, they grew up together. This entailed many glorious trips to the American Girl Doll Store, Hannah making Jenny’s first email address (kittychic1992@yahoo.com), countless hours on AIM, and an embarrassing amount of mirror selfies.

Kristen and Jenny’s friendship first started during first grade in CARE, an after-school program at their elementary school. The friendship continued to flourish and Kristen became Jenny’s Supaboo, a title she still carries in her phone contact to this day. Kristen is Jenny’s go-to for fashion, music, and general life questions.

One day in third grade, Nicole was sick and absent from class. They had an assignment to act out a fable. When the teacher asked who wanted to be Nicole’s partner, Jenny enthusiastically jumped at the chance. After a strong performance of the Shoemaker and His Wife, the forced partnership turned into an unbreakable friendship.

Many of Jenny’s memories of Shannon include her dancing in her parent’s basement growing up. So it’s not too surprising that one of Shan’s visits to Miami to see Jenny included literal dancing in the rain. It is one of Jenny’s favorite life memories and she is incredibly lucky to have best friend like Shannon.

Alberto and Isaac have been friends since the start of law school at the University of North Carolina. There’s even a photo of the moment they met… and one of when they unexpectedly wore the same shirt for a night out and both refused to go back to change. While Alberto’s globetrotting ways have taken him far and wide, his unassuming attitude and thoughtful advice has been a constant source of guidance to Isaac over the past 15 years. Isaac is proud to call Alberto his best man.

Ankur was almost Isaac’s roommate in Lipscomb Hall their sophomore year at the University of Georgia. But instead of being roommates in the same dorm room, they became across-the-hall neighbors. Ultimately, they bonded over hip-hop music, Spanish (Ankur necesita practicar más), and navigating college life. Their friendship over the next 20 years would continue with trips to Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. Today, they enjoy trading war stories as fellow litigators.

Dane and Isaac met in Lipscomb Hall at the University of Georgia. Dane has consistently served as an inspiration for Isaac, demonstrating the importance of doing what is right and helping those who rely upon you, regardless of the circumstances. Dane may be a true Jedi when it comes to loyalty and dependability, but when it comes to Star Wars knowledge, he will always be second to Isaac, like a Padawan to a Jedi Master.

Isaac didn’t like Jay when they first met in a linguistics class during college. However, after realizing that they were both joining the same business fraternity, Isaac started to get to know Jay better. This led to a friendship of road trips, long talks, and adventures. Fun fact: Jay has the distinction of being the only groomsman who has worked separately with both Isaac and his sister, Sarita.

Julio and Isaac were almost certainly in the same classes during their time at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, but didn’t even know it. It wasn’t until 2011–several years after graduating–that they met in Miami as a result of their common friend, Jay. After repeatedly seeing each other in court as attorneys and playing kickball on the same team, Julio turned out to be a great friend (and even temporary roommate for 9 months) when they both lived in Miami.

Mark also met Isaac in the dorms at UGA. Along with Dane, they quickly became friends talking about geopolitics and world cultures. Mark’s open-mindedness and empathy allow him to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, making him a beacon of hope and understanding in an often-divided world. While talking to Mark is always enlightening, Isaac is particularly excited to see Mark’s excellent dance moves.

Robert has been Isaac’s friend since fourth grade. From building computers for their elementary school, to searching for extraterrestrial life in high school, Robert and Isaac formed a lifelong friendship. Robert was there when Isaac began his Star Wars collecting journey and they worked together at Cloud City Collectibles. Isaac is thrilled to have Robert’s wife and fellow high school friend, Avi, officiate the wedding ceremony.
