Our story starts back in December of 2019. Jeremy came to visit the Espositos in New York, and spend the new year with them! As Jeremy spent time with the whole family, Jeremy and Katie had instantly become friends. It was easy for Katie to connect to his kindred spirit and Jeremy was curious about Katie's gentle persona.

We stayed connected over the phone and kept the friendship. When it was time for me (Katie) to go to liberty, Jeremy wanted to help me adjust and make me feel excited about college despite my various concerns. I went to liberty and our friendship only continued to grow. Throughout my first semester, we would do homework, eat lunch and go to church together, along with our other friends. As the second semester rolled around, Jeremy and I took bible class together.

Every Tuesday and Thursday, we would get lunch and spend most of the evening doing homework and talking about all that was on our hearts and minds. Katie began to get strong feelings for me (Jeremy) and I began to feel the same. We kept quiet and continued our friendship while our friends were pulling their teeth waiting for us to just admit our feelings. Our first time out together, that felt like more then just a hang out, was the night before Katie was going to leave to go back to New York.

We had set up our hammocks and talked for hours. We watched a movie and shared our life goals. We talked about our personal stories and little short comings that led us to the current moment.

I (Katie) remember looking at Jeremy and being in complete denial that I would actually end up with him. I prayed that night and told God, Lord if I dont end up with Jeremy, then I hope to get someone just like him. The next day, my parents picked me up and I had missed him more then I ever had before.

The next few weeks, we would face time and text all day until finally on May 18, 2021, we finally confessed to liking each other. We were both so happy and could not believe that we finally had each other! Our first year together was filled with many fun times and new experiences. We learned so much about each other and continued to lean on God in every good and bad situation. Our second year flew by and our love for one another continued to grow!

We are still so happy and excited to be with each other and that we are now getting Married! God has been so good to us and has blessed us tremendously. It has not been perfectly easy but submitting our relationship to our maker is vital! We would not be here, together, if it wasn't for God sustaining us and loving us! We hope our story is a testament of Gods love to the world. Our goal is to love one another the way Jesus loves us! We hope to spread His love to others and live our life, glorifying to God!
