August 13, 2023, the day we got engaged! We woke up early in the morning to go see the beautiful sunrise at Myrtle beach! We drove to the beach, set up our hammock and watched the sunrise. As we were sitting watching the beautiful view, Jeremy gave me 25 letters, since he knows that letters are my favorite thing. Jeremy began to tell me how blessed he was and how he can’t believe God had brought us this far. I was nervous as I was beginning to suspect something was going on. As Jeremy was getting ready to get on one knee, he told me that today would be the day we would be engaged, however, he left the ring back at the family beach house! He had sent Sam, Katie’s brother, to go get it. My best friend Emily and Sam finally arrived at the beach! It was only a matter of time before Jeremy got down on one knee and asked the big question! Of course the answer was yes! We both could not be more filled with joy and excitement of what is to come and can not wait to celebrate this wonderful time in our life!
