How should I get around town during the weekend?

Washington, D.C. is a vibrant city with ample transportation options. We encourage people to use ride share apps like Uber and Lyft or public transportation to get around. The Willard Hotel, JW Marriot, and Hilton Garden Inn are all centrally located in Downtown D.C. and are a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from Metro Center Station and McPherson Square Station with access to the Blue, Orange, Silver, and Red Lines. Since D.C. implemented "Tap. Ride. Go," metro cards are no longer needed. Just tap your credit card or Apple Wallet at the faregate to enter and exit. All three hotels are also within walking distance to the White House, National Mall, and many of the Smithsonian museums.

Does the Willard Hotel offer parking?

Yes! The Willard offers valet parking charged at an hourly, daily, or overnight rate: 0-2 Hours: $26, 2-4 Hours: $32, Max/All Day: $37, Overnight: $70.

Will there be transportation to Eastern Market for the Shabbat Welcome Dinner and/or Welcome Cocktails?

For guests invited to the Shabbat Welcome Dinner, we will provide bus transportation from the Willard Hotel to Eastern Market North Hall and back. Specific timing and details will be shared at a later date. For those joining us for the Welcome Cocktails after dinner, we recommend you take ride share or Metro via the Blue/Orange/Silver Line to Eastern Market Station. The Metro station is a short 4 minute walk from the venue.

Are there hotel room blocks available?

Yes! We have room blocks reserved at the Willard Hotel (SOLD OUT), JW Marriot, and the Hilton Garden Inn, Downtown. Check the "Travel" page for more details, but make sure you book a room early. Room block space is limited and rates will only be guaranteed until Wednesday, September 24, 2025. In addition to the room blocks, there are several other hotels in the area at which our guests are welcome to stay.

If I'm not staying at the Willard Hotel, will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue?

No. Given the prevalence of ride share cars in the city and the proximity of the Willard to many of the hotels in the downtown area, we will not be providing transportation. If you are staying at the JW Marriot, it is across the street from the Willard Hotel. If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, it is a short 8 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the Willard Hotel.

What does black-tie preferred mean?

We strongly encourage our guests to wear tuxedos and evening gowns to the wedding ceremony. We want our wedding to match the beauty and elegance of the Willard Hotel. However, we understand that it might not be possible for every guest to acquire a tuxedo or evening gown, in which case dark suits and cocktail dresses are acceptable.

Are children welcome at the wedding?

While we adore and love your children, our nieces and nephews will be the only children invited to attend the weekend's events. We hope you understand!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to space limitations, we cannot accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation.

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

All wedding-related events throughout the weekend will be indoors.
