There are many other hotels in the downtown area outside of our room blocks, and our guests are welcome to stay wherever they'd like! Here's a list of hotels in the immediate vicinity of our wedding venue: Hotel Washington, Washington Marriott at Metro Center, Grand Hyatt Washington, Sofitel Lafayette Square, The Riggs, and the Waldorf Astoria.
Airline and Train Travel
Washington, DC has three airports in the region:
1. Washington National Airport (DCA): 3.9 miles, ~10 minute drive to the hotel. Metro accessible on the Blue and Yellow Lines
2. Dulles International Airport (IAD): 28.3 miles, ~40 minute drive to the hotel. Metro accessible on the Silver Line
3. Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI): 35.5 miles, ~45 minute drive to the hotel. Not Metro accessible but is reachable by MARC train to Union Station.
For those traveling from the Northeast corridor who prefer to take the train, Amtrak will take you to Union Station (1.8 miles, ~10 minute drive to the hotel, Metro accessible on the Red Line).
The closest metro station to the Willard and JW Marriot is Metro Center Station (Blue Line from DCA, Silver Line from Dulles, and Red Line from Union Station). The closest metro station to the Hilton Garden Inn, Downtown is McPherson Square Station (Blue Line from DCA, Silver Line from Dulles).
